Interesting graves in west brompton Cemetery

Last weekend The man and I went out for the day to this interesting burial ground. Apparently Beatrix Potter used to perambulate through it and took inspiration for some of her characters from the names on the head stones. We only found Mr Nutkin, but when i Googled it, peter Rabbett and Jeremiah Fisher should be there somewhere too. Emmeline Pankhurst is buried here as well. One grave that caught my eye was decorated with what looked like an airship in flames with a tiny biplane above it. |
