I feel so sad for this young girl and a little bit mad. There she is in the school hols going off on her own to a shopping centre. I wonder if she was going to have a holiday this year. You almost wish there is going to be a bizarre outcome like the one of the previous missing young girl.

The Police seem to be very focussed in their search for Tia.

The longer this goes on the worse a feeling I have about the outcome. :-(

Her grandmothers partner has gone with plain clothed policemen - to help them with their enquiries - not been arrested - sky news

I thought Tia looked like a typical 12 year old in the photo. Nice, modern but not over the top clothes. It's only a pity that one of the adults did not accompany her to the shops as they were a 5 mile bus/tram away. Not just down the road.

Have missed the press conference must check on BBC Text. I do hope she 'turns up' somewhere but it is not looking good after such a long time.

just on BBC news that police search unit with dogs have been to the grandmother's house and also that they have been searching surrounding area - however they say it is still a missing person enquiry and there are no suspects

Julie, I am sure that your daughter must be finding it hard as well. I hope for their Tia and your Tia's sakes that the end result will be good and she will be found safe. And you, try not to get too stressed, you don't need it at the moment.

Julie Report 8 Aug 2012 15:43

Ann..I know what you mean .........a few days ago certain things look liked they wasn't adding up to me

It is a shame Sue, but we have been here before several times and there is just that feeling. :-(

I have delayed posting about this because I admit to being very uneasy.

I hope that she is safe and well somewhere and if she is she will have the courage to go home.

Isn't it a shame that because of recent revelations we now scrutinise every word and facial expression of close family members. Makes me feel very guilty but I just can't avoid doing it.

Newspaper reports are very worrying today, I said to my OH last night that I had an uncomfortable feeling about this, some contradicting stories too so who can tell what actually happened. Hoping against hope that I am wrong and she is safe.

Looking at her photo she looked alot older than 12 years.. But it is not right for her to go on her own she should have gone with friends.. one of my granddaughters go into town but they go in a group and she is 14..

I ma very unsure of the Step G/dad who also happens to be Tia's Mums ex ........& didn't the nan know the difference between a boob tube top & a vest top seeing as she ( the Nan) was wearing one
