Well I watched the lot with my son & daughter. :-D

What a great evenings family entertainment. We laughed at everything to laugh at, from Mr Bean to some of the countries were were sure had made up obscure names. Sang along to the songs, marvelled at the lighting of the flame, felt incredibly sad seeing Mohammed Ali so ill, embarrassed when Paul McCartney sang .

And was very, VERY thankfull it didn't rain & Cliff Richard didn't start a sing along :-D :-D :-D

I loved the opening ceremony and watched it all the way through and have always been a huge fan of the olympics...probably watched more of it through the years than you have........I didn't know that transport was running later so wasn't complaining about it...well thank goodness i needn't have worried for folks' safety......and of course there are workers through the night ,always has been.......tell us something we didn't know!!!

If you want rude I'lll give you rude......and a well known GR phrase...."wind your neck in".....I've never said that on here before but now I'VE had my tuppence worth :-D
