#bustles onto thread, sits elegantly down, and smooths skirt, clears throat#
Well dears, what a week it has been. As I said last week, we have been do see the Dippy Vicar to discuss the Banns. As Pat-trish-aaah lives within the Parish, and is a reular-ish church goer she will have no problems. They are to be announced from the first Sunday in September. Juan is still living in the West Wing, and I must say he is a real treasure. He has changed tap washers, cut grass and all sorts. He is even considering finishing off the Ark for us, just in case we need it!
Over the next few weeks we will have the Vicar over to tea, to discuss the ceremony, hymns and the Service. Pat-trish-aaaaaah fancies the idea of 'Obeying' but I have never known to obey an order in her life!
Of course the full Spanish clan will be over to witness the wedding, and of course I shall put them all up. We have decided the Wedding of The Year will be on Rememberance Sunday.
We have decided on cream Duchess Satin dress, with matching coat and hood [we fear it might be a bit chillier by then] and the bouquet will be of red poppies, as it is only fitting.
Pat-trish-aaaaah has been nattering away on the phone like billy-o. All in Spanish of course, so that I cannot understand. As you know the extend of my Spanish was limited to 'Come into the garden to smell the gardenias' by that dashing Spaniard Juan many years ago. Unfortunately the smelling of flowers was already too late, as I had plighted my troth to that blackguard Patrick a few months earlier, and he had left me with more than a sweet goodbye! Still that is all water under the bridge, and many Poo sticks have plopped into it over the years!
So that is up to speed gels, now what is all this about a December bump? Are we expecting an Avalanche?
I hope the lad was fully compensated for his good marks dear Teresa, one has to continue with the donkey/stick scenario!
I imagine dear Susan is up to her eyes in Johnsons Powder! How lovely.

Thank you ladies for your good wishes, :-),
Teresa, I managed to reduce my laundry mountain to nothing, thanks for your kind offer... How nerve wracking for you all waiting for the GCSE exams, best wishes to you all. I am sure your Fruit will do well.
Four tiers?. Crikey, how big is this wedding going to be?. Lucky currants are not rationed these days. :-D. A word Petunia, try reverse physcology(sp?) on Patty if you realllllly don't want to run with her ideas.... ;-). Do keep us posted , I have a feeling you will be tearing your hair out before long. Though the dishy Vicar could be a tonic..
~~~~~ to Lesley,
Thank you dears for your bunting, I am just untangling myself!
Yes, congratulations again dear Susan, or should we call you Nannie Susan now?
Good luck with the exams Teresa, I am sure the results will be fine.
Soooo, we have a new Vicar. A trendy new Vicar, with floppy hair, and gold rimmed glasses. He took all the particulars and the first of the Banns will be read on the first Sunday in September.
He wondered if we might like a folksy ceremony as he is very good with the guitar! I said we may think about it. Think yes, have..........no!
We are under a mountain of magazines at the moment, Pat-trish-aaah is considering her dress. I suggested Milletts, she declined.
Seriously, if she get an idea of what she wants, I am most willing to have one made for her. I favour duchess satin, overlaid with lace, but in the end, she will have what she wants.
Of course I will pay for the wedding, she is my flesh and blood after all. We are also looking at places for the reception, I have discounted Downton Abbey, but there is rather a naice stately home on the Heath, that allows receptions. So we will enquire. It is not peak season, so we will book the reception first, and the wedding after.
I have suggested the newlyweds live at Motie Towers, it will give them a head start in life, and it will give me the security of having a man about the house. It will work, as Pat-trish-aaaah has her own self contained flat, as you know.
Mrs Berry is going to buy the ingredients for the cake tomorrow. Apparently they want a four tier cake, so plenty of currants!
Hello Ladies,
Phew, what a week we have just had :-D. The resulting offering is just the sweetest little girl anyone would want. <3.
Baby is doing well, her parents are somewhat frazzled, there have been a couple of hairy nights but all is on the up....
Petunia, I have bunting :-D, pink and blue hues, made for an h'afternoon tea party we had a few eons ago... How exciting, a wedding. No BFG's anywhere near I hope.???.
~~~~~ to all, I am in such a muddle here, Mama and male fruit and his new girlfriend came to stay to meet the new baby. I am up to my armpits in laundry, I must away and try and get organised. I was about as much use at work last week as a chocolate teapot.. I must try harder to actually give a damn this week.. ;-). My heart is elsewhere. :-),
Hope all is well with you and yours,

Aunty dear, Pat rish aaaa can get electrolisis for those embarrassing stbborn hairs. It stopes the daily necessity of shaving! Down these parts many beauty padlors offer those services. It costs a few quid but im sure it will be worth it ;-)
Now dear the V festival is a music one, dedicated to the yoof of Essex and elsewhere. That Mr Ricky Wison of the Keizer Cheifs beet combo, it tis he who is there, not memebers of the dear Queen Vic posse. Tutty tut!
I used to like Mr Wison until he revamped himself to sit with Sir Tom, Miss Kylie and Mr Wil I am. He has sold out and is too shiney. His teeth could light up the Heath. I do not approve at all. He is right up his own................................
Sorry Aunty I was called away, I have a warming winter casserole on the simmer, ah mr Wison. All I can say is tuttty tut tut tut tut and more tuts. FTE is "too old" for the V. The fruit is going elsewhere to anothed festival. One that dear Prince Harry is organising, I believe the fighters of the foo are there and other such naice young men.
Now I had a shock today and had to hot foot it to our local savings establishment. From tomorrow FTY is officially a tax payer and tax will be taken from the pocke money savings unless I sign the relevent forms. Tutty tut tut tut tut. The yonger fruit does not even earn yet. Gawdblimey the GSCE results are not even out yet. The Fruit is not 16 till the morrow.!!!!!!!!
Well less of the tutting, we have had a bit of rain, the water butt is full and the tomatoes growing well.
" waving to lesley and Susan"
Teresa :-)

Good evening ladies.
Thank you for your hemail dear Teresa. My breath is like a fish-hook dear, baited. We shall await the news!!!!
Of course I did not forget the V. Festival dear. Tis the anniversary of the First World War dear, and what better than a Victory Festival.
I have vetted all the participants dear Justin Timberwood, Lally Allen, M Popple, Belbow, Tiny Temper, Paula Nutella. But I do wonder if the inclusion of The Kaiser Sergeants is such a good idea!
All is well with the Love Birds, Pat-trish-aaaah is now embarking on shaving her chin whiskers on a daily basis, rather than the weekly venture of old. So it must be true love.
I think we shall hear from dear Susan, when we have Good News.
Lesley is on the missing list, shall we organise a search party?
Lots of rain here dears...............work has recommenced on the Ark.

Good evening Ladies. How are we all?
Let me say firstly.............PAT-TRISH-AAAAAH IS ENGAGED!!!!!!
I have festooned the house with bunting, and we are to have a party this weekend. Of course you are all welcome. It will be open house.
Lesley, you will have to retrace your steps, and come in this time. We will be having lots of fun.
Teresa, I know you can manage another piece of cake............or two....... I know you have a sylph like figure, so another morsel with not harm you. So pleased you have returned to the fold.
You will not be here dear Susan, but I have asked George to set up a Trype link, so that you can join us via the Tinternet. Please keep us up to date with the New Arrival. We are all delighted, and awaiting news.
The ring is Saphire and Diamonds dears, just for your information, and it is HUGE. I think we are looking at a wedding dears. Start sourcing hats!!

Hallo auntie and Susan and Lesley, we are full of afternoon and cream teas and other such grub. My hips are feeling it a bit dears. We have visited all the culture that this bit of the country offers. The NT and EH have come up trumps and we have had our memberships worth this week??.
I think FTY is a little fed up, the fruit muttered something about staying with FTE next time, However if a holiday abroad or in a hotel/cruise ship etc etc etc is on offer the fruit may change the fruits mind. The fruits words not mine!!!!
I do hope P is behaving Auntie :-D I do worry about the poor gal and do not want tears before bedtime.
Not many sleeps till the baby fruit is here Susan :-D :-D. Such excitement.
It's raining and pouring, where has the sun gorne????

Good evening Ladies,
It has been a while since I popped in to say hello. :-D.
Petunia, what was the word 'Juan' wanted with you??????, was it THE word (s)?.
Well, we are still waiting for our little bundle of joy to arrive. Mind you, we have two days to go to reach D day... Fruit is quite calm about it all, it is just me that is getting fidgety.... A little birdie told me it would be the 8th and a 'pink' one.. We shall see, I fear things need to happen in a hurry as we are nearing the end of the 7th already. :-D :-D
Fruit and I have been out for afternoon tea today with a friend of mine. I am full of cake and can barely face cooking , let alone eating dinner... Oh dear, I imagine my OH won't be best pleased if there is no dinner on offer tonight...
I trust you and yours are all fit and well?. Are you still enjoying a lovely summer?. I am thrilled to think September 1st is Spring for us down unders, yippeeeeee. :-). I must not get ahead of myself as Mother Nature has a habit of throwing a few curve balls.... My poor garden is in much need of some tender loving care, goodness knows when that will happen.
Oh well, there is nothing for it, I am going to have to get some dinner on..
Have a lovely day one and all :-)

Good evening Ladies, how are we all?
I do not imagine you need to look at Embarrassing Bodies, dear Teresa, you must see your fair share of boils on btm's in your line of work.
I must say the last week has been very calming. Pat-trish-aaaah has been all enchanting and a delight. She has taken Juan on a tour of dear old London Town. No, not in the tuk-tuk, George, Francine, dear little Valentine and Celestine have all been over to see Georgianna, and have acted as chaperones to the lovey-dovey couple. All has been the height of propriety apparently. So far so good.
The dear little children are growing by the day, and are looking more and more like their dear Mama. She always was a beauty, and that is what bewitched dear George. Hence their whirlwind romance.
Apparently Juan wants to have a word with me tonight in private, if it is what I hope it is, we shall see Pat-trish-aaah walk down the aisle. And hopefully not fall flat on her face.
Fingers crossed
Auntie Petunia
