Good evening dears! I am sorry for my absence. But I have been busy, busy, busy.
You know, I may have mentioned it, but I have a wedding to organise.
I have been over to Francais, to visit George and his dear little familie. I am sorry dears, but it is so easy to fall into the French, doncha know.
I know Teresa, you have warned me about having littlies at the wedding, but Pat-trish-aaaah wants them as bridesmaid and page boy, and at this particular time, what she wants, she gets. Heavens, I never thought I would hear myself say that! I have been measuring, and shopping with the dear little ones, and we took a trip to Pareeee to buy their outfits. They will bring them with them, and the shoes can be worn in, so that their dear little feet will not be sore!
I must say I also looked around for myself, but I have promised Madame Shivon she would make all the dresses, so I cannot go back on my word. Although I did see a divine dress and jacket ensemble in Gallerie Lafayettes. I have bought it, and I will keep it in reserved. Oh, and a hat, and of course hat and shoes. I have also bought a little necklace for Pat-trish-aaaah for the Wedding Day, and also cuff-links for Juan. My flexible friend will be a little weighty this month, but it had to be done!
So now you are all up to date. The cake is still being fed, and smells like a barmaids apron, the flowers have been ordered, and the food ordered. I cannot let dear Mrs Berry cook up a storm, it is just too much. She has made the cake, and I think that is enough for the poor woman. We have been to a little shop I know in Picadilly, and they will be supplying the food.
Remind me dears, if I have forgotten anything, any help would be appreciated.
I hope you are all well dears. Dear Susan is still on her jolly holidays I believe, and Lesley has a few commitments at the mo.
Toodle to all Auntie P.

Auntie dear, the clothing sounds very naice dear..........but the colour purple is all the rage this season it would appear. So useful for blending in with the skin tone and varicose veins :-D :-D :-D :-D
Ah mini people at weddings, I had one at mine, the dear small fruit had a paddy or three!!!!!! This small person was seen and heard :-| :-| :-|
A Spanish theme is just the thing in the freezing weather. If you click the castanettes quickly enough im sure you will generate some heat :-D
FTE had a jolly to the outskirts of the metropolis at the weekend. Our dear Prince the younger was there. He was a little like a superstar DJ. The battle cry went up from the masses when he alighted the stage. The crowd seemed to like him almost as much as they did Mr Ghrol and his Fighters of Foo. FTE was happy in the midst of the moshpit and managed to get some very good photographic imagery. This is on account of the sharp elbows and uncanny ability to get as near as the front of the stage as possible. The Fruit has a great tallent for this, it comes with several years of practice :-D :-D :-D
Sending waves to Susan and Lesley :-D :-D :-D
Orf now to serf the tinternet for brown winter boots ;-)

Dear Ladies...............how are we all?
Pleased your fruit is settling in to the hard graft dear Teresa. Golden Arches, is that some kind of code dear? I can think of many golden things, but not arches.
Lesley dear, I hope you are rolling up your sleeves, and putting on the hot water and ripping up sheets for the impending arrival. How lovely dear. You will be throwing talcum powder all over in competition with dear Susan.
Susan must be sunning herself by now. Good luck to her, I wish I was joining her.
Now the forthcoming celebrations.
The House is booked. Dear trendy vicar is on board. He has been given his instructions, Titania indeed, Titanic more like.
As you know Pat-trish-aaaaah has Spanish heritage, so we will of course be giving a nod to that. The ceremony is to be held in the Orangry now, as befitting her Mediterranean blood. We are also erect a marquee on the lawn for the reception. Anyone who knows the area will remember there is a lake at the end of the lawn, and a structure very much like a minature Hollywood Bowl where music is played. We will have a sextet and fireworks to round off the evening.
I think a pale apricot for my outfit, as the warmer colours will flatter my skin. I think a fine wool coat, as it may be chilly, a matching dress, and a Queen Mother hat with feathers will suit very naicely.
Will let you know all as it unfolds. We are still awaiting confirmation that Valentine and Celestine will be pageboy and mini bridesmaid. Such fun!
Toooodle Ooooodle! AP

Bugs lesley are the bane of us Mammas working life! I hope everyone is on the mend. we were fortunate to generally be bug free when the Fruits were at school. FTY got chicken pox when he started nursery at the age of 6 months in the week I ruturned to paid toil. FTE had a little bug or two, they hung about her and the extended family when nusery school began until primary school finished :-( the little blighters nearly drove me to distraction and beyond. Thankfully the bugs did not care for comprehensive school fruits ;-) Congratulations on the news:)
Have a loverly holiday Susan, you can relax before the christmas festivities start to decend. I have seen cards etc in the shops already! FTY is settling in thankyou, he has found the golden arches which as lesley knows is not far from the place of education. :-|
:-D :-D :-D :-D to Susan with numbers. Your hat sounds just the thing for the wedding. You may have heard that Patrisha has an "interesting line" of expressing herself in dress ;-)
Aunty dear, should you be with young Prince Harry? He may be in need of your organisational skills. FTE is hithering up to lend a hand and watch some beat combos as well.
toodle pip for now, I have a connection to investigate in that hobby we all like so much :-D

Dear Ladies, how are we all?
Upsidedown Susan, please do have a jolly holiday, you can count the days until you return to see your little darling. She will have changed no end by the time you return. They grow so quickly.
Our friend Susan with various numbers has yet to return. Yes, I agree Cherry Crumbles used to come to events with her own creations. Jolly good they were too.
The wedding dress is well underway. Madame Shivon has chalked our the pattern, and will be cutting tomorrow. She really is a wonder. Such a light touch with the treadle machine. She is to make my outfit too. I shall see her over the weekend, to have my 'colours' done. I think a pastel colour is far more flattering to a mature skin. I shall report back.
I trust all is well now Lesley, nothing worse than a dickey tummy. You dont know what to do with yourself. Just keep your fluids up dear.
We are up to our ears with Bridal magazines too. We are looking at Orders of Service, Bridal favours, and veils. I favour blackout blinds!

Hello Ladies,
Lesley, you must be cream crackered. I hope everyone is well on the mend?. Poor Little Princess, so hard to see a baby unwell. Let' hear it for Grandma's !!!
N is still riding a roller coaster, each day is like a lottery, you never know what is coming..... Midwife coming today to check and weigh N so hopefully the scales are straining under N's weight...
~~~~~ to 'Lil'. Nice to see you. I think your proposed wedding outfit sounds quite fun. We used to have dear Cherry with us, she was a dab hand with a bin bag :-D. I shall have to give some thought to my ensemble..
Petunia, I can smell the cake from here, lordy lordy.. Who needs a bar tab, just wave the cake under the guests noses. ;-). I am quite intrigued to 'see' Patrishaa's dress.... MBFGW springs to mind for some obscure reason. :-S.
Teresa, hope FTY is enjoying his new school. Our fruits were deprived of any electronic toys.. I think pacman was de riguer... Nearly back in the dark ages.
OH and I are off next week on a holiday, we are flying off to a much warmer clime. OH is in need of a break, he will love the sun, sea and sand. I feel like a right gadabout this year.. Not sure we will have access to any t'inernet.. :-(.
Time to get on with my day, I am off to be shorn this morning then going to cast an early vote for our election... yawn..........
Hurrah Lesley, you have surfaced! We were about to send our search parties for you.
How lovely another new Princess for us to coo over. Well done to all concerned. Do keep us informed of the progress.
I see dear Kate is expecting too. Always wanting to keep up with us, is she not?
Of course you are all invited to the Wedding of the Year, as I modestly call it. That goes without saying. I shall get a satellite link for dear Upsidedown Susan, so she can join in with us, whilst changing nappies.
Now Susan with various numbers, of course you can wear a hat made of a book. I think that is a very brave decision dear. You can arrive a la Mrs Shilling, she of the unusual hats.
I shall issue colours in due course dears, I do not want us to clash dears, and as I am the Grandmama of the Bride, I have first dibs.
Just orft to ladle more brandy into the wedding cake with Mrs Berry.
Well, good evening to Susan with a selection of numbers behind you!
As you can see, we are preparing for a Wedding. Do say you will come.
Do you have a hat to wear? If you feel disposable, they have some naice ones at BHS, if you fancy pushing the boat our, Mr Treacy has a few that may go with your outfit.
Do, say yes, dear, we need a bit of new blood to cheer us along!
Very gently twisting your arm.
Good Sunday afternoon Ladies.
Well the booking has been made, and we are good to go!
The service is to be held in the Library of the Bequest House on The Heath, at 12 o clock. And the reception in The Orangery at the same House.
The Library is very quiet, and the ceiling is duck egg blue, and the furnishing gold. It is very lovely. The new hippy, dippy vicar has agreed to preside, as we wanted a religious ceremony as apposed to a civil one. Make it water tight I always say.
The Orangery boasts plenty of glass, orange trees and Gainsborough pictures, just the right amount of splendour and relaxation. It will be tickety boo.
Madame Shivon has undetaken the dress, with a crumpled page from Allo, and we are on our way.
Now, why or why, am I singing Frankie Lane, and High Noon?
Hallo Auntie :-D I think a firm foundation to winch things up a bit is always a good bet, well according to Mr Gok it does ;-) The Vicar sounds a little, em how can I say this, a little wimiscal. A good god fearing service is what is in order. Full of fire and brimstone, not all this flowery woodland stuff!!!!!
The Devils x box is still working at full speed tutty tut tut, all the fellow fruits x boxes are also draining the national grid. Tutttttty tut tut tut :-|
Ladies, fret not, I am here! As you say, I have a wedding to arrange.
I bet you are still up to your eyes in talcum Susan, and enjoying every moment of it. Savour it dear, it goes all to quickly.
I bet you waved your hankerchief Teresa, and your fruit went off to Big Boy School. I know it is College dear, I just wanted to make you smile.
Sooooo, we are in the thick of it. Dresses and patterns come and go, we are up to our ears in brochures and magazines. Pat-trish-aaaah cannot seem to grasp that a dress on a size 6 Skinny Minney will not look the same on a size 18. But we are making progess, or so I thought. She favoured an empire line with a train. So I contacted Madame Shivon the dressmaker [think about it] and we were in talks.
However, Pat-trist-aaaah went to the newsagents this morning, and got her copy of Allo. There she saw The Dress of Her Dreams. Modelled by no less than Miss Jolie. A classic dress with a veil covered in what can only be described as scribble. So there you have it, if it is good enough for Angelina, then it is good enough for Pat-trish-aaaaaaah. Ah well, back to the drawing board!
The cake is baked, and Mrs Berry is feeding it on a regular basis. Dont ask! All four tiers are wrapped in greaseproof paper, and in tins. The smell when the tins are opened it like a brewery. However, I could get used to the fumes.
The ceremony is still in discussion. Dear Vicar is a bit hippy dippy, and wants to turn the church into a woodland scene, so that Pat-trish-aaaaah can be Titania! So what does that make Juan? Oberon or Bottom? Answers on a postcard dears.
We have made discreet enquiries as to the availability of the Bequest House on the Heath, and we have an appointment at the weekend.
Busy, busy, always busy.
Auntie P.
Hallo Susan :-D
Sending big hugs to you all, the weather here is "middling" it cant make its mind up. Its a big day for FTY. The fruit is off to " further education" today and a bit of a bus trek to boot. The devils x box can cool down for a bit now. It generated more heat than Patrisha on a sunny July afternoon in Spain!
I cant think where Auntie is, she has weddings etc etc to organise and of course that nice dance show to watch which she is so fond of :-D
Lesley it was a bit on the foggy side on the way back from paid toil last night. Must have been that strange warm rain :-S :-S
off now to look for winter boots
Good upside down morning Ladies,
Goodness me, I have been away a while.... Life has been rather hectic these past two weeks. I have been putting myself to good use 'next door'.... I am hoping things are finally settling down now.. :-D. The babe gets weighed again today, there has been a bit of concern about her losing a lot of birth weight. I am sure things are better there as we now have a chubby cheeked little girl..
Things are moving along with the wedding, how lovely. Do keep us posted. Poppies are so lovely. I did have some in my garden once upon a time.. Time will tell if we have any this year.. I did once have the lovely purple poppy, I think commonly known as the opium poppy... I had a lovely specimen at my back door, came home after having workmen here and the whole thing had gone... I would love to have seen the twits trying to extract enough oil from one plant to take a nice trip..... Eejits.
Our weather has turned to custard.. I shall not be getting out in the garden for a few days yet. I am determined to try and make something of the current poor excuse for a garden. I need a truck load of new mulch to top up all the beds.. It will be my back that gets broken. :-(.. OH is not one for gardening.. We visited Mama over the weekend and came home with some lovely orchids from her garden. My Papa used to grow them. :-).
I hope you are all fit and well, I guess the autumn colours are plentiful now.? Time to get my skates on and ready myself for the day ahead. Plus I want time to pop in next door before I head off. ;-).
Toodle pip, Susan
