:-D :-D :-D we have Sunshine today as well Lesley. June the 21st, the longest day, well it felt like it the day FTE popped out ;-) of course it is also the birthday of our dear Prince William and a few other folk I know :-D :-D :-D

what a shame that dwellings are being built on the very nice establishment. :-(

lots of good news :-D :-D :-DFTE has secured employment. The Fruit has seen as much of the world and is now shore based not a million miles from home this time, although the Fruit may need a tow rope on the car to get to work up and down that famous stretch of road and beyond :-D

All babies look like my Grandad Auntie ;-) dear little Valentine may be a little green eyed bless him. I remember a certain Fruit having a tantrum when a new Fruit was in situ. This particular Fruit was so cross they said that they would report a certain Mama to Childline, the reason being was because the Fruit could not have any more two pence coins for the slot machine at the seaside! Happy days

The Mama must have got somthing right for the Fruit just had tea at a certain grand hotel in a famous seaside town on the south coast, it looks very ladylike

Well tis February already and we have had MORE rain. Tis time the Ark came into its own. We have all been working furiously on it, well I say we, I have been organising as is my wont. But it only needs a bit of pitch now, and we shall sail away if we have to.

I have been Tryping on the tinternet to dear George and Francine and I have seen dear little Celestine. What a funny little thing she is! Why do all babies look like Winston Churchill? Valentine was suitable demure too, but I did detect a little pinch when Mama was not looking. I shall have send his something to distract his itchy fingers. Tutty Tut.

All our preparations are well underway. I have been watching that naice Mr Paxo on the television talking about WW1, and there is to be a great deal more leading up to the centenary in August. Jolly good too, those valiant boys should not be forgotton.

I do hope you are all well gels, and not too wet. We shall await dear Upside Susan to give us our marching orders for our meeting in the Summer.

A feild was once what my place of paid employment is, the feild is still being built on as well ;-) ;-) ;-)

I will locate some huts and send them down the cyber hatch along with a very naice cream tea which we had at a very nice jam establishment. I had never been there before which is strange as it is just a little meander across country.

The Queen has been there and minor royalty. Next year is another milestone birthday for the company so maybe a Royal visit will occur :-D

Hello there Ladies,

Indeed Susan, there have been quite a few tragedies over this hemisphere too. Divorce is not easy these days, and often little children are the victims in the dispute between Mum and Dad. We have had a number of reports in the papers where babies whatever their ages, have been murdered by one or t'other of the parents. So very, very sad, and what a waste of life. I do hope that you are mending well dear Susan. Fear not about doggies mouths, they are often cleaner than a computer keyboard. #disinfecting as I type#

Well, little Valentine has a little sister! Dear George and Francine have become parents for a second time. I think they were caught on the hop, but all is well, and Mama and Baba are fine. A name to be decided in the near future. You would have thought they had enough time to decide, nine months! but no. All will be revealed in the fullness of time apparently! Dear George phoned us with the news bright and early this morning, what an announcement before we had even had our morning cuppa. But, a lovely announcement!

I hope you are all well dears, I shall be sending blankets to be stitched to dear Lesley down the cyber hatch. All those little squares need to be sewn together, and you DID say you could blanket stitch.

We will be having a very small reconstruction with the Old Soldiers and Sailors, so we will need a Field Hospital in a very tiny way. I am sure I can count on Teresa to give good advice on that subject.

Susan, you will just have to wave the flag from where you are, and support our gallant efforts.

Deary me, we are languishing on page three....

I hope Teresa and Lesley haven't had to take to their rubber dinghy's.? Sending my gumboots down the hatch to keep your tootsies dry.. You might have to share as I only have one pair.. Gumboots : a rather ordinary name for Wellington's ;-.

There is a song about gumboots hactually. "If it weren't for me gumboots, where would I be , I'd be in a hospital or infirmary, and so on ;-).. Doodle 'Fred Dagg'.

The sun is shining in all it's glory and I can see the moon in the distant sky. Is the moon shining brightly in your sky?. I have a fascination with the moon, the brighter the better.

Perhaps that is where my missing rellies are hiding :-|...

Teresa, I hope you are on the mend. You sure did a good job of hurting yourself. My 'little' wound has all but healed. The pup did insist on giving it a lick :-S.. I shudder to think how many germs are in a dogs mouth - she thought she was helping ;-).

Today is the funeral of two children, a brother and sister, murdered by their own father in front of their mother. The parents were estranged. Such an horrific event. I can't begin to get my head around how sick the father was and how the poor mother picks up the pieces and tries to move on. RIP little ones <3.

On that sombre note, I will go and breathe in the glorious morning air and be thankful for all I have in my life. <3.

We are high up here in North London. We can see Canary Wharf to the left, and what I assume Crystal Palace Mast to the right. It is a large tower like thingy anyway.

We have quite a good view of all the cranes that are appearing like chicken pox over the vista. There is so much building going on, one can barely see St Pauls now!

Oh Susan dear, how lovely of you to pop in. Now you must not fret that your offerings will not be suitable, I am sure they will.

If you just let me know your personals, I will have dear Mrs Berry give you lessons over Tripe. She will put the computer in the kitchen, demonstrate, and you can cook along with her! Simple as winking!

I must say, we are to be treated to a wealth of documentaries this year about WW1. I think the youngsters will learn a lot. And of course, those men were all some Mothers' son. And we should remember and revere them all.

However on a lighter note, dear Francine has started to have Braxton Hicks contractions, so maybe the new little one will be here sooner rather than later.

So exciting, another little baby on the way.

Thank you dears, my knitting is coming along famously. I have knitted three full matinee sets, a pram blanket and a shawl. I have made the blanket and shawl in white, but the matinee sets are lemon, white and cream. So, one to wear, one in the wash, and one spare.

Tra la, there is sooooo much to do with the old gentlemen. I shall have to get them into order lickety spit! I just hope that no one dies of excitement!

August you say, should be enough time to get a lighter than air offering.... If not, I can supply you with 'missiles'.... or pocket weights should the day be extremely windy. :-D

It is lovely to have you at the helm again. You will certainly get those old boys ship shape and Bristol fashioned no doubt about it. !!

My tummy is rumbling, it is some seven and one half hours since I ate my lunch.... We are late again with our dinner... :-(. I must away and settle the rumblings.

Stand by your beds ladies! Oh sorry dears, I have been to the Old Soldiers and Sailors Home today, and we have a jolly super wheeze.

As you know, tis the Centenary of WW1 this year, so we will be have a beano at the Home. Lots of tableaus and the old soldiers and sailors will have a march past the local Cenotaph.

Of course, this is much organising to be done. Lots of stitching [I pride myself on my herringbone], lots of baking, and lots of disclipine to be installed to those wayward old gentlemen.

Beatrice is already thumbing her way through the songsheets, and has made an appointment with Mr Tempo, the Italian piano tuner. He will wait until the weather improves, and he does not want to tamper with slack wires, and then have to pull them up tight again. Better wait until Spring.

I think we will have such a jolly time dears, the first of our events will be in August. I believe that nice Mr Paxo is to do a series on the television about the horrors of war. I shall be glued to the box, it will be very educational, and one is never too old to be educated.

I shall need some volunteers dears, step forward if you are willing.......................why are you running away dears?

Lesley dear, have you a small boat I can hire? It's getting rather flooded at certain areas along the road to paid toil??. It's not so bad I the daylight hours but in the dark, well it's anyone's guess what lies ahead! I was thinking of getting Tom Dalys crew down to film their very strange TV show??

Susan, I hope you are ok after your tumble. I too took a fall yesterday evening and spent this am having the grit removed from the offending injury in hay and e! Also on a couse of antibiotics as well! And before you ladies ask I was sober and of sound mind??. It could of been much worse, all that calcium must be doing some good??

I'm very excited, it's dancing on ice, call he midwife and then Mr Selfridge. It's the highlight of the week. ( I must get out more) ??

We are pup sitting tomorrow evening. Pup is coming for a sleepover ;-). She is always fun to have around. She just loves the big white box that sits in our kitchen.. Magical things happen when the door opens. ;-).. She knows I am the weakest link.

Susan dear, we call them Lion Trees over here. I used to have one in my Parlour, it was varigated, and a real thirsty little thing. But only pure water, not tap. Fussy thing!

Hello Teresa dear, are your feet getting webbed yet? Mine definitely have a skin forming between them.

Anything medical you can suggest? Apart from a very sharp scapel!
