Are you sure you don't need stronger specs Julia? :-D

Stoppit Wend! You're making me fretful - and just a tad queasy :-0

David, I don't think any of them are regarding their sproutings as divine :-0 :-D

Well, I am rather proud of myself for getting to my age, and have never shaved my legs 'cause I have never had any hairs on them.
So there.

Ladies, be whiskery no more! I go to Boots or Superdrug and get my eyebrows and tache threaded for under a tenner. Lasts a month and is smooth as a babies silkjy bottom! :-D :-D

I thought the black DD hairs were bad enough - butover the past year they're coming through white.
The white ones are impossible to see, what with failing eyesight, and those bl**dy energy saving bulbs. I can feel them, but can't see them. End up randomly plucking my chin in the hope of catching them :-S

I will be applying to the big stores this year to see if they want a Santa

Don't talk to me about chin hair. I was hair free for years after years of electrolysis and now its started up again. I think its got worse since I stopped taking HRT. You think there is nothing there then the sun shines.

I accuse my mother of being part of the blue rinse brigade, it annoys the hell out of her as she has never tried anything on her hair but has a definite blue hue :-D

I get pink streaks now and again.

I'm wondering if I'll end up like one of my grannies, with BLUE hair! My aunt told granny that she looked like a budgie. Granny didn't speak to her for weeks lol

What peeves me is my eyelashes are disappearing at a rate of knots and the DD hair sprouts overnight :-(

I have my hair cut and dyed every 3 months with a cut in between. My daughter always says she can't see any difference from my original colour and that is good. I just want to cover the patchy grey..

I started off with hilights and now I have 'creative colour' which is highlights plus an all over dye so it doesn't look to densely coloured. Its expensive but I spend very little on myself. I have a good hairdresser who gives a lovely cut but I must say its never smart looking because I haven't the patience for too much blow drying. At present the colour is a good balance with my skin tone.

I remember when I was much younger having a different colour every month just for a change.

My head hair isn't wiry - but those 'Desperate Dan' hairs on the chin are a b*gger . Is it just me, or do they spontaneously erupt during an important meeting?

You sit there attempting to be interested/interesting/vivacious, then come out and there's a DD hair half an inch long waving at you :-S

I don't mind that my hair is going grey, the texture/wiriness of the grey hair is another thing and I really don't like that :-(

I had jet black hair, with dark olive skin.
Started going grey when I was 28, started dying it in my 30's.
When it was short, in my40's, I let it go 'au naturel' - it looked horrible, all patchy, and made my (paler) skin look awful.
My skin's faded even more now, my hair's long (put it up in a 'tucked in' french plait) and I used a colour remover about 2 months ago.
That was novel. The longer bits are dark and it pales as it goes up, with the top a light brown.
Got highlights put in, and when the white started showing again, put a semi-permanent blonde on!!
I now have multi-coloured hair (which I love) , but am aiming to remove all colour.
More high/low lights in first week of August in preparation for my daughter's wedding!! :-D
