What a brilliant evening and a perfect sunset in the background...

REally really enjoyed that. We Brits know how to put on a show don't we?

oooo some of you are so miserable!!
It's a wonderful weekend. One that most of us will never be part of again.
What about all the wonderful bits of tonight?
That hard work by so many to put it all together.
The hundreds who have travelled to be there and be part of it.
The wonderful technology to put those pictures on Buckinham Palace.
And not forgetting the fabulous fire work display.

Well done everyone involved.

I've forgiven Paul McCartney because he sang Let It Be.

LOVED the fireworks at the end too and am AGAIN blown away by it all....proudbrit.com

Well I thought the organisation, the lights effects on the palace, the singing of some of the artists including Alfie Bass, Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey, Robbie Williams and the song 'Sing' were all great. The fireworks ended it off and the lighting of the beacon clever.

Two events in two days (who said it was dire?) Very good entertainment and spectacle, and so difficult to organise. So pleased for them that the weather behaved this evening. Loved Charle's speech too and couldn't help giggling over Princess Ann waving her little flag. :-D
