may i bore you all with a terribly unfunny story( not amusing to me ,but maybe you all will find it slightly amusing)

Today after waiting for over 9months ,i finally got an appointment to see a loverly doctor about my very horrible varicose veins in my left ankle and leg.
AS i sat looking into his lovely brown eyes and hanging on to his every word,he suddenly asked me to go behind the curtain and remove my trousers,i thought i misunderstood him ,a nurse took me behind a curtain and told me to take my trousers off and stand on the step ,i started to sweat because i knew that under my trousers i had the smallest and oldest pair of knickers on that originally were white but now were a horrible grey colour, what the hell was going on? i thought i would just roll up my trouser leg and show him the offending ankle(i know im a nurse,but im a pediatric nurse) i hadnt shaved my legs or anywhere else(oh the shame).
the lovely dr came in to see me standing there completely mortified,spouting hair from everywhere :-0 :-0 and proceded to examine my crouch( they pull the veins up through the crouch) i died a million deaths for the 5mins i stood on that stupid stool,i cuoldnt look at him afterwards and almost flew out of the room,the nurse was doing her best not to laugh while she gave me my appointment date for next month(what a cow she was) ive never been so embarrassed in all my life :-( :-(
