Duckworth, I believe, was from the Manchester area. Thats the midlands, not the north. In fact, its the south if the truth were to be told.

Sue let me know the translations would you please? Not sure our car will go any further North than the Lake District. Like the Tesco trolleys on leaving the site, its wheels might lock.

Rambling

Rambling Report 28 May 2012 12:50

A step too far for me I fear ( I would be too tempted to liberate the lambs ;-) ).

besides I think I would rather keep my image of Eldrick as the semi mythical King of The North, roaming around his estates with a couple of large black hounds tracking innocent ramblers in pac-a-macs and luring them back to his dungeons with false promises of brown rice and tofu for dinner :-D

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 28 May 2012 12:54

My hounds most absolutely do not wear pac a macs. No way, no how.

Rambling

Rambling Report 28 May 2012 12:58

LOLOL I knew as I pressed 'send' that it would read like that :-D

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 28 May 2012 13:37

Oh, and the lambs are already very liberated. They mince around here, shorn, shameless and wearing sunglasses. 2 of them,Tarquin and Darren, smoke herbs and drink cider in Spar shop doorways.

How much more liberated do you want them to be?

'Emma'

'Emma' Report 28 May 2012 13:44

LOL........Tarquin and Darren love it. :-D :-D

Up north like Newcastle? You have to go out in only your vest on cold winters nights up there don't you?

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 28 May 2012 17:40

OK I'll rough it if there is some single malt in the offing ;-) I'll even bring my medical books so you can look up some really strange conditions and post about them when the boards get really slow :-D

Mersey Report 28 May 2012 17:45

Im in I fancy abit of grilled peacock......is it like spatchcock?? :-D :-D

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 28 May 2012 17:54

ooooh, ailments. That will be good. We could play a game like charades but instead of films it's guess the ailment. I can just imagine the hilarity when someone tries to imitate non-reticular convergent lateroliosis. How much funnier can you get?

Grilled peacock bears a strong resemblance to roast swan or maybe fried hen harrier. So I'm told.

DIZZI

DIZZI Report 28 May 2012 17:56

ANN THE LAMBS WILL NOT NEED ANYTHING DOING TO
ALREADY SMOKED AND HERBED JUST STICK IT ON A SPIT ROAST
