I've got 3 kindles, an iPad and an iPod in case the iPad breaks down. I can actually read 5 books at once if I wear two pairs of stereo glasses and squint a bit. And if I plug the iPhone in I can listen to an audio book at the same time. |

Wisechild you would need to buy the 3G version which downloads books without the pc. But you also need to check with Amazon if the 3G works in Spain. There is something at the back of my mind about problems with Spain. However I have just used mine in Tenerife. |

You would have to download the books from the Amazon website to your pc, then via a wire which is supplied to the kindle. if you had a wireless network, it would be delivered straight to the Kindle. It appears almost instantaneously on the kindle via the wifi, so the file size must be small. It is not like trying to download a film. |
