!!! What a lot of replies, most not replying to the Original Post, instead insulting another members.

I have not been mistaken for a member of staff, but have often been asked if I know where a product would be. I ask if they have tried a certain isle, but would not roam round looking for that product for them.

In fact I do just what Kellie did & if the truth be told I doubt if we are the only ones!!!

Yes I have been mistaken for a staff member in the past when wearing any business suit, even now when crippling around a store I am approached by older people (yes there are some) and I attempt to help :-D

As for a trolley with a mind of it's own, Locate staff member get them to transfer item into a trolley that can be wheeled in a straight line and get out asap as usual. Having been in marketing for more years than I care to remember the last thing I would have recommended is a faulty trolley. Not a good customer experience is it?

I can usually negotiate a wonky trolley around the store... but then get to the car park and the trolley goes off in another direction nowhere near my vehicle..

Then I go off my trolley... very quietly..
