PAINTING: yes, at the moment I seem to be able to pick up the brush most days. Because I'm working in Oils I need to have more than one thing on the go at the same time (paint needs time to dry!)

I hope the information you gather on the Meninsky Painters helps to build a picture of the Ancestors for you.................

Peter :-)

Thank you:)

l will try and get some photo's onto the blog, but it won't be for about a week!

All the paintings were sold apart from 4 that were lent to the Auction House for exhibiting.

This was 1965, so its possible Nora Meninsky sold them, his 2nd wife.

RR

Thank you for that.

I have seen that plant growing in the fields as a crop, from distance the field looks like a lake because of the colour, I had to ask the first time I saw it, strange - sort of the same colour as the sky!

Peter, I used to watch Tom Keating, I did a bit of research on him too as I had a 'missing' gt uncle Tom Keating lol and thought he might just be a son....there is some painting talent in the family so I was a bit hopeful :-D

This reminds me of Tom Keating, from some years ago, he was a nice man and a good tutor, an excellent Artist. I have some of his TV programs on VHS.
