An 80-year-old couple were having problems remembering things, so they decided to go to their doctor to get checked out to make sure nothing was wrong with them.

When they arrived at the doctor's, they explained to the doctor about the problems they were having with their memory. After checking the couple out, the doctor told them that they were physically okay but might want to start writing things down and make notes to help them remember things. The couple thanked the doctor and left.

Later that night while watching TV, the old man got up from his chair and his wife asked, "Where are you going?"

He replied, "To the kitchen."

She asked, "Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?"

He replied, "Sure."

She then asked him, "Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?"

He said, "No, I can remember that."

She then said, "Well, I also would like some strawberries on top. You had better write that down 'cause I know you'll forget that."

He said, "I can remember that! You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries."

She replied, "Well, I'd also like whipped cream on top. I know you'll forget that so you'd better write it down."

With irritation in his voice, he said, "I don't need to write that down! I can remember that." He then went fuming into the kitchen.

After about 20 minutes he returned from the kitchen and handed her a plate of bacon and eggs.

She stared at the plate for a moment and said, "You forgot my toast

I did visit another thread that I dont think I had visited before, after coming on here. I have to get ready soon to go out so I cant visit any more, apart from my regular threads.

Lol Joy...perhaps you should re-visit the suggestions threads and give GR what for.:-D.....I have had a few problems with it tonight but have been able to get on here mostly without hiccup ...

Well I occasionally look at the General Board and visit any interesting threads, rather than sticking with the few I always visit, but that means more threads on My Threads. I am a busy girl, cant spend all my time playing on here :-( much as I would like to. It doesnt help the figure either.

Oh, well, I suppose I can go and look at some others now. Good evening to those up-toppers who will be going to bed soon, and good afternoon to those in Canada/USA, and good morning to Kiwis and Ozzies.

It would be nice if some of the people from the other threads we have visited also leave their threads and say hello to at least one new person/thread... :-)


Don't forget to revisit the threads you have added to to see if you have an answer. You may be surprised and find yourself adding to the thread more often or indeed show others that we can all get along if we try...apart from that...it is fun to do something different methinks....whiles away the time if there is time to spare :-D

I am getting quite giddy out there, keep finding that where I go Susan Wiv is there before me. :-D

Hello Tec :-D and Amanda.....and anyone else I haven't seen ( I am such rubbish at keeping a thread going....Please don't think I am ignoring anyone...I am useless at trying to keep pace :-(

I expect everyone on the majority of threads is friendly....just that they don't venture out of their comfort zones.....me included..... I bet there is not one person who would mind you joining their thread :-)
