Aha! I see this is turning into a chat thread.

Let me see...now what can I talk about......*lightbulb* moment....I know! Eldrick!

So what is your IQ Eldrick?.....and before you tell me.....I don't believe you! :-D

Good luck to her whatever field she goes into, science etc.
a future in the making, hopefully to benefit us all.

THings seem to even out for these children as they grow older. No doubt she will be groomed and become a scientist or suchlike, and thats great.

But yes, I agree. A childhood is more important than being an amazing academic at that age.

'Emma'

'Emma' Report 13 Apr 2012 12:34

Agree, I find it quite frightening, but apparently she was
reading books aimed at 7year old when she was 2, not
precocious in any way and dads a university lecturer.
How do you keep these children active and still hold
on to their childhood, would not like that problem. Hope
she can cope in later years.

Interesting, but one must wonder if an IQ so high in one so young is credible, or even a product of being a 'prodigious savant'.

I always wonder about thse incredibly high IQ tests. They are very controversial!

'Emma' Report 13 Apr 2012 11:59

It's loverly, sad ain't I, am easy pleased. :-D

Now what about this 4year old girl with the IQ 159,
one below Stephen Hawkins, amazing don't ya think? :-)

***Tuts*** why so many pages?.....don't you know I'm lazy and can't be bothered reading past page 2....if it's a contentious thread, i may reach page 5 before giving up.

This is why i don't partake in those extra long threads.

This thread is totally unnecessary and I'm sure GR would disapprove as it takes up too much space.
