Woke up to a covering of snow here in Aberdeen this morning.
Happy to report that it has all disappeared and the sun is out.

Fascinating! Could be a great help to people who have night terrors or nightmares if it works. I just looked at the UK Dream Map. Wouldn't you just know it......I'm in the worst area for nice dreams! No wonder I keep dreaming about falling in collapsing sewers in the garden....sigh!

To bed now I think......sweet dreams. :-)

Ah ha! Well, I just looked and it does look very interesting and wide ranging. This caught my eye....and my mind 'boggled'.

HOW DO YOU DANCE?
Take part in our dance experiment to help
scientists learn how our hormonal and genetic
makeup shapes the way we dance and how
this determines who we ‘fancy’!

Don't suppose you did? :-)

Anyone for the Turkey Trot? ;-)

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 14 Apr 2012 22:41

No and no. It was late starting as the speaker got hit by a piano falling from a block of flats when he was walking under a ladder after tripping over a black cat. Bear in mind yesterdays date.

There is a Tavern in the Town
F. J. Adams, 1891

There is a tavern in the town, in the town,
And there my dear love sits him down, sits him down,
And drinks his wine 'mid laughter free,
And never, never thinks of me.

Chorus:
Fare thee well, for I must leave thee,
Do not let the parting grieve thee,
And remember that the best of friends must part, must part
Adieu, adieu, kind friends adieu, adieu, adieu,
I can no longer stay with you, stay with you,
I'll hang my harp on a weeping willow tree,
And may the world go well with thee.

He left me for a damsel dark, damsel dark,
Each Friday night they used to spark, used to spark,
And now my love once true to me,
Takes that dark damsel on his knee.
Chorus:

Oh! dig my grave both wide and deep, wide and deep,
Put tombstones at my head and feet, head and feet,
And on my breast carve a turtle dove,
To signify I died of love.
Chorus:
