she's said elsewhere that she is in Canberra

edit .......... may have misunderstood what she posted elsewhere .... which was, I thought, "I'm in Canberra and go to the National Library regularly"

but now note that she said on that thread that she "lived in NSW"

Canberra is not in NSW, it's in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) :-)

Found it .............. on Living Relatives, she posted

"I am in the ACT and deal with the National Library on a weekly basis,,,"

wish she would make up her mind!!!!

KELLIE
I think you are probably quite young and hotheaded,
we may be older than you,but mark my words,we are just as hot headed as you.you need to apologise to some people and calm down. :-)

I'm sure I had relatives that were sent to New South Wales many years ago ;-) Botany Bay I think :-)

Actually I wish I had as it would make the tree look interesting :-)

I used to do a lot of look ups years ago and I loved getting information for people. It didn't bother me whether on the boards or by PM. If you are on the boards it doesn't take much to check messages. So...... if you want anything looked up on ancestry, just ask. :-P

AnninGlos Report 6 Apr 2012 13:43

She didn't say but inferred that because she'd thrown her toys out of the pram and she 'had access' to records in NSW, people would not now get the help they wanted.

Mads, there was no need for the way she handled it, and youa re right, she sounds very immature.

Thankyou Ann :-D Good word "umbrage" I've always liked it, along with 'high dudgeon' lol.

Mads

Mads Report 6 Apr 2012 12:56

Well put Ann, I dont see any harm in sending a pm if someone is helping, but she could could have politely replied and said please keep it on the boards,

It just shows her level of maturity x

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 6 Apr 2012 12:52

Originated on find ancestors board Rose, Kellie took umbrage at somebody she was helping because the person PMd her instead of putting it on the thread. Kellie doesn't appear to have any certificates in diplomacy and was not polite to the person. Kellie incidentally is new to these boards. She was then not nice to Prickles, or anyone else if it comes to that. Kellie is in New South Wales. :-)

Mads Report 6 Apr 2012 12:45

I think she swore at someone Rose, and doesnt want to make friends on here, each to their own i suppose :-)
