Ooooh....you know Iike you Suzanne but that was a bit rude. Patchem has been on the boards for awhile and she was just stating an opinion.

Yes, she was incredibly rude to some people ................. as someone else on this thread has said, I haven't seen such behaviour before on GR

and I'm also just expressing my opinion, as Patchem was.

Kellie posted on another thread and complained that it took so long to get to the last page of the thread. I gave her some advice on the way I do it, but again, she still had trouble - so I told her to keep trying and if she wished, she could pm me........I heard no more from her and she has since been asked by the thread originator, to edit a word in one of her posts.

I have now come into this thread and found that she doesn't like pm's - so perhaps that's why she didn't get back to me. Maybe just as well, because that thread is mostly frequented by people with grown-up families and I feel that Kellie might be too young to be interested in our type of posting.

I also think she might live quite close to where I live.


ps. She can't be as young as I thought. She mentioned an 18 yo son.

There is no need for profanity and it's against the GR rules.

I have to admit I have never seen anyone cause so much havoc in such a short time on the boards.

If one is going to use "abusive" language one should be very careful and do it in jest so that it can no longer be termed as abusive. One can swear friendly but when one reduces themselves to that sort of language as a means of adjectives etc when annoyed it takes on a completely different meaning.

I could be wrong but I think Kellie went on to Sue's Aussie thread to find out what exactly?

That is not what Sue's thread is for.. it is a friendly welcoming thread where anything as long as it is not abusive etc goes.

Kellie you may not have wanted to be talked about but you certainly went about it in the right way.. and to think I nearly pmd you last night about Valerie and her ask a librarian comments.

GR did set up this board as a place to chat ........ all the other boards are for genealogical research, and we're all very serious researchers.



BUT we all also like some fun, and, yes, to chat to friends that we have made on this site.

You are not going to get very far on this site if you continue in the way you have started.
