I have an hhhanouncement to make.

Yesterday, I took it upon myself to propose to my OH. We've been together 11 years, and never intended to get married. In fact, he'd proposed to me once before then heaved a big sigh of relief when I said no... that was in the early days.

Aaaaaaanyway...this time, I said, there's absolutely no reason for us to get married, we dont' need to prove commitment to each other, if the events of the last few years haven't done that, a marriage certificate won't. We don't NEED to get married, there's no financial nor emotional benefit...there's just no reason to do it...so why don't we?

He liked that argument as said YES!

Probably next spring :-D

This, by the way, is the good news Muffy, Stray, Joy and Sue were busting to spill yesterday, but I had to make them wait until I knew my family knew first....and boy are they slow getting back to me? LOL
