I do think that Puss was genuinely confused as to whether she was speaking to a male or female with some board names. I sometimes feel that way too, especially when some people (and I have not problem with it) use their partner's account.

Sometimes it is annoying when you start a serious thread for genuine answers and it gets taken over as a fun thread. Sometimes people don't mind. So I expect she deleted it herself. :-)

I thought the thread was daft in the first place. Who cares if the person you are talking to is male or female.

If you want to reply to them then do so based on what they write, not who they may be.
Unless you want to flirt with them, or have the intention of finding a date it doesn't really matter. :-D

Regardless to that, anyone can present themselves as people they are really not, gender included. So people may not always be who they really are anyway even if you ask them directly :-0

Good morning campers :-D

I added to Puss's thread just before I logged off. Sure I didn't say anything untoward....only that I was female last time I looked :-D

think the poster meant it to be serious - maybe not happy that it turned into a fun thread

highly likely!!! I've met Foggy - he doesn't have the legs for a kilt :-D

. . . . . was it something I said?

Debating on how board names can be confusing because we can't always tell what sex the person is:

I just told Foggy that she's a lovely gal and should wear her tartan skirt to the London meet, as she'll look good dancing on the tables with Island in his knitted trews. Nothing wrong with that.
