Although wasn't there someone pretending to be a fireman on here (to make a point I may add) and convinced quite a few?

The ladies were flocking to 'him' lol

lol Mau, no I posted that without seeing your post :-D It never occurred to me that you might be a man from your writing,...am I digging myself a hole here? lolol

I think if one were a man it would be slightly easier to write as a woman, than it would be for a woman to write 'as a man'? do you think? there have been a few women on here who have pretended to be a man and it's been pretty obvious lol.

Hi SRS
As you have been mentioned by Rose, no offence but I haven't ever thought about whether you are a man or woman - I thought you were a squirrel :-D

I just see different characters, not men and woman. :-S

I think you can usually tell, although there are some ladies who have perhaps a more masculine tone to their writing, a hint of testosterone lolol, and men more in touch with their feminine side.

I remember back in the 70s when a school friend and I happened to be walking up a hill behind a sturdy young man in jeans with lovely long hair and friend wolf whistling at him...till 'he' turned round...oops :-D

Mauatthecoast Report 11 Feb 2012 11:29

I also said on Puss's thread that years ago on here a member (who shall be nameless) asked me if a was a man :-S because I 'wrote like a man' :-S...now how does that work I wonder?...........* hope I haven't put my size sixteen boots into trouble :-0 :-(

...and there used to be someone on GR with the name ' George who's a woman'..........

*~~~ to Martha or is it Arthur now? ;-)

Island, morning babes. I have never been so bloomin' cold. Open windows, bah. Ours are frozen shut. Couldn't open them if I tried.
Was just looking at a picture of sailors shovelling snow off the decks of a ship in the Russian Convoys. No wonder me old Dad is hardy. It must have toughened him up. He don't get as cold as me.

Cold and miserable in Derbyshire
