Depends, Chris - if I'm feeling posh it's napkins. Otherwise it's a piece of kitchen roll :-D

Anytime, Stray, if you fancy a little adventure darn sarth - some people say that my garden is like 'fairyland', so I think you might enjoy it, being like you're a little fairy.

Talking of fairies - where's that Prickles gone? Is she away with the fairies and little people still, d'you think?

Tinkerbell . . . . . . . . . where are you . . . . . . . . . ?

Wend Report 11 Feb 2012 22:48

I do a lovely cream tea for friends in my garden in the summer sometimes. In fact, I can be quite ladylike sometimes, with a little effort :-S

My Mum and Dad used to drive out to the New Forest for a cream tea in the 80s. My mum loved her cream teas. :-)

They were lovely and so light. He cooks better liver and onions than I did!

Lordy lordy gone from genders/flowers/scones/liver - typical thread.

ChrisofWessex Report 11 Feb 2012 19:29

Marion - first time he made them it was so funny - using my big Chef he made the mix and I said to add the milk slowly turned my back for a second to put something in the sink and he had poured the lot in in one go!

Got over that - he cut the scones and put on tray and I said just wipe with milk using pastry brush - I turned my back and there they were with a ring of milk around them - the WORST part was they rose and rose - I could have spit :-0
