In a rush today I bought 4 boxes of plug plants from Aldi thinking or not thinking that it would be enough plants for OH 3 family graves and my families cremation plot that's in a church yard, I should have slowed down as I haven't got anywhere near enough.

Thanks all the same for the kind offer Puss but no thanks, I am not too keen on lillies we have never been very lucky with them here. You enjoy them though. Maybe they won't go to 8 feet if theya re not in very big pots.

Ann the lillies just havr thr name of sy scraper, they grow to about 8 ft, mum had noticed them on bid tv, the bulbs are the size of daffodil bulbs they also spread, so ive stuck some separetly in pound shop plant pots, our nearest pound shop is shrewsbury.

i have a few left if you would like a couple. :-D

I have got quite a lot of seeds saved Ann, so must get some compost to start some of them off soon. In fact I might go and have a look through them now to see what there is. :-D

Good value Rose. Our pound shop has loads of garden stuff in, lots of seeds and bulbs as well as tools etc.

I've just treated myself to two white lily bulbs & a pack of freesias (£2.56 Wilko's) and a bag of sidalcea from the 99p shop, don't feel too guilty at that price :-)

my tulips are in bud they normally dont flower
till the end of april begining of may up here in the north east
and the daffs are in abundence this year all very early

My sky scraper lillies have come, with free seeds for other things, so where is oh, and me trowl "SPECKY HERE NOW sweety you know i love you"xx :-D

Julia we've been getting flies on sunny days but only on windows that face south south/west, they've not been very lively or very fat it looks as though they've just come out of hibernation.

Greenfingers same here regarding ladybirds and earwigs.

puss n daughter.....only four ladybirds !!!1 They have been all over our garden and come into the house, since the end of last summer (if you can call it that !) They have been a pest,they seem to arrive from nowhere...likewise earwigs, yuk

Well Oh got really carried away today and painted one of our garden benches.

Yes, Ann, the OH saw a Bumble Bee outside the other day. Spring is definitely on the way. Ho,ho.

Not had many flies Julia but seen quite a few bumble bees in the garden and conservatory.

We have had flies in the house for about a month now.

I think they have survived because of the mild winter.

Over the past week or so ive found 4 lady birds in different places in ,my jungle, has anyone else seen them x?
