Oh, so you wont want to know about this one then.

Julie and her dopey husband decide to build an ark in their back garden because the parents at the school decide they have had enough of the healthy eating lark. The ark is their only means of escape as the tram has been derailed and they cannot get a taxi from Steve.

Roy decides he cannot get on with his Mamma, and tells her to sling her hook to America with the Man from UNCLE. They hitch a lift with Julie.

Roy follows in his rowboat, with a cleaver in his hand to make sure they do not return. Thank goodness Sylvia has her ukele to keep their spirits up.

i thnk its starting to get a bit silly, and i just feel for real victims, who got a not guilty,and the programme is trying to make out its ok coz they gona kill him of,

There is something uncomfortable about watching a series like this with Frank saying all holier than thou, 'The jury found me innocent'. When we know he was guilty. I am not liking this plot line at all. It is sort of feels like the plot on EE when whatever her name was stole baby Tommy.

and don't get me started on her yappie voice! LOL

Her character is always OTT isn't it?, Such a drama queen. :-D

How stupid to direct (the actress who plays) Sally to start pushing industrial sewing machines around LOL It takes suspension of reality too far.
I've never thought Carla fitted in as a character so I've found all of her storylines tedious.

The character Frank is so despicable however he firmly believes he is in the right about everything and he knows that Carla will never work beside him again so he has a wonderful opportunity to buy her out for peanuts.

Wonder if Sally is next on list for attack or has he been using her?????

Steve and Tracy is daft - however I could see it happening in real life!

What will be the storyline for poor Simon - Carla not good 'mummy' stuff so where does the little mite go? Ken and Deidre???

yes some men would, its all about control, as is date rape a lot of the time, so it could really happen how its being protrayed altho i hate the storyline :-(

Corrie last night (6th). While there was still some excellent acting, did anyone think the factory scenario was abit farcical? Would he really have trooped in there followed by all his girls while Carla was out and say they were going to all move in together?

The Steve and Tracy thing is getting a bit OTT as well, funny to watch and I suppose, in extreme cases believable, but not sure, could get boring!

New Zealand is many years behind by the sound of it. I havent a clue who Frank is but look forward to finding out, if I live long enough!

Gwen Taylor is excellent - that's why I found her character so detestable!!
Poor Sally is going to have egg all over her face - she's stuck up for Frank for so long but she's going to find out the hard way that he is a liar and a rapist which will vindicate Carla

That's my thought Julia, that Frank has always been dominated by his mother which is why she doesn't like his girlfriends. She probably didn't like sharing him with his father either.
I know it's only a soap but it's good to have a character with some meat on the bones for a change.

I wish people wouldn't post spoilers, I know they're out there but there's no need to spoil it for those of us who aren't obsessed with what's coming up :-0 :-D

I think Gwen Taylor is good in her role.

Gwen Taylor is a Derbyshire lass. I have enjoyed her performances in everything she has been in, with the exception of Corrie.
I think, and it is only my humble opinion, that the character Frank, has one of them phobias. He is overshadowed by his domineering mother, and the only way he feels masterful after s**, is when he is being brutal towards the woman, hence the rapes.

Yes, Gwen Taylor is a very good acress but I dislike her character in this.

I have just read that Terry Duckworth is due to come back into Corrie and is unaware that Tommy (his son, who he sold) is living there.

I think Gwen Taylor has been great as Frank's mother. She is such a versatile actress. Would you believe it could be the same person who played Aunt Peggy in Heartbeat and I also remember her as David Jason's wife in A But of a A Do.

I too have read the same thing re Frank's demise and that (in true soap fashion) there will be a number of people lined up who had the motive.

I hope it's a double murder with his mother as the other victim!!! :-D
