Always at my back I hear, times winged chariot hurrying near Andrew Marvel

One Moment in Annihilation's Waste, One Moment of the Well of Life to taste — The Stars are setting and the Caravan Starts for the Dawn of Nothing — oh, make Haste!

Watching horizon on bbc 2. Seeing the mind boggling research into bio mechanics and genetic engineering, immortality is not really far away. Watch it on iplayer if you get a chance, it is really incredible what the cutting edge of science is achieving.

Evening Ann....I know what you mean...'lingering'. As you know my old dragonlady is 99 and although she has memory lapses (who doesn't!) she is still a force to be reckoned with and still in control of her life. Not bad :-)

Bob....those puppy eyes are calling to me! :-D

I have no fear of death My Mum believed in an after life and I hope she was right. My sister believes in spiritualism and claims to have been in contact with her. I hope she is right also.
I would like to think that death is not the end and I am prepared to be amazed. But not just yet please.

As I said, I don't fear death, I do fear 'lingering'. If I can live to a 100 and still have most of my faculties (well one has gone (hearing) already) I shall be content. If my OH could stay with me I shall be doubly content.
