Jules I had to stop wearing contact lenses due to dryness the way idescribe my eyes is one minute ok next like looking through next curtain.

dry mouth I was told to either chew sugar free gum or drink lemon barley water, last time i was at mouth clinic they couldnt get any saliva out manually. Gonna get shares in robinsons as drink so much squash

I have probs with my eyes, even wearing glasses doesn't help...One min they are ok and the next i'm struggling to see properly!! Also have a dry mouth to...Oh the joy NOT :-D
Still haven't heard from my GP as to wether he has had the letter from the rheumatologist so still nothing for the pain which is so bad at the mo I can juist about walk to the bathroom...Got to keep smiling though...Thinking of Harmony always makes me smile no matter how much pain i'm in... :-D

Well really it isnt your place to say so Jude, this thread has been running for mths as a support thread not medical advice and people are allowed and WILL voice their concerns its their duty too, as is RR is there to report abuse not simply click on when someones points out the obvious . :-D

I really have nothing to say on the subject as far as I was concerned the subject had been dealt with and closed last week and i will not enter in any discussions again purely out of respect for Jules this is her support thread when all is and done, however if matters of medication and dosage appear again it will be done obviously out of malice .......have a lovely sunday everyone :-D :-D :-D

Liz just got back from out of hours drs and she asked what I had and when i said sjogrens she said she hadnt seen anyone with it since she qualified 16 yrs ago.

Not sure if its the fibro or sjogrens but i am being plagued with Urinary infections last year had cystitis so many times and now its bypassing that and going straight to upper UTI and getting my kidneys this is second one in 11 weeks.

And to make it worse developed allergy to usual antibiotics they give for it and being allergic to penicillian as well dont leave many to try.

oh well lots to drink and sleep for me.

Apparently GR have said yes to peeps putting health threads up but not to talk about dosage.

Puss is away on holiday now so lets let this drop atleast until she gets back!!!!

When I went to the optician recently for an eye test, I mentioned that my eyes felt a bit sticky in the mornings, he suggested I see my doc to get something as it's probably Sjorgrens, I seem to remember my late Mum had it too and I have a very dry mouth often now as well. Will make an apptmt asap altho I hate the thought of more medication.

Jules, when I was diagnosed with fm the specialist told me they couldn't detect it from blood tests - maybe there is something now that shows up.

The lack of good refreshing sleep is the worse part of it for me altho the pain in my knees from the o.arthritis is excruciating at times, and in my big toe on my right foot!

amounts of medications that were being taken were put on here which isnt right same as we all have different symptons we all take different meds and whats right for one isnt for another so is dangerous to put how much you are on, was pointed out and rrd

I take lots of pills for different complaints..but i dont say much on here about it

I doubt very much if GR have said its ok, they dont even read half the posts on here, and you must be the lucky one, if you keep getting personal emails stating that you have permission to say what you like, maybe they had to employ more staff due to the increased workload.
