A terrapin, an ancient castle and a gardener....

a wet windy night, a set of dentures, a red lipstick.....

a built in wardrobe, an Italian chef, and a Playboy bunny...

a toupee floating on a lake, a coincidence, a flat tyre.....

Rambling Report 14 Jan 2012 19:57

Many thanks to all who have sent me comments, and to all who have sent writing of course :-D And thanks to Ann for coming up with two topics that 'grabbed' me !

Any suggestions for next topic/s gratefully received, it was mentioned to me that we might take it in turns to do so ( and I forgot to pass that on , sorry) so maybe we can do that in future if everyone is happy with it? or make one suggestion each, every week? or just as we think of one ( lol don't wait for me, my mind's a blank :-S)

Rambling Report 10 Jan 2012 21:51

BC I can't remember who gave the advice , though it may well have been Maeve Binchy, that writers groups may be a bit stifling of imagination for some, if they are of the sort to stick to rigid exercises.

Ann, I have a poem done! from 'deja vu', it's only short so I might write something else to go with it.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 10 Jan 2012 21:47

I would be the same BC, it is difficult to join these groups on your own isn't it? Takes an awful lot of courage to justw alk in.

I keep looking at the latest ideas and not getting anywhere.

Rambling

Rambling Report 10 Jan 2012 18:40

I'm looking forward to reading...much more so than I am to writing lol, :-S

ButtercupFields

ButtercupFields Report 10 Jan 2012 18:05

Look forward to it, Dermot :-)

I was just about to leave to join a local Writing Group when I chickened out...lol...that is the second time I have done that and I am most annoyed at me!
