Hello All

I've come to the conclusion that I don't believe in life BEFORE death...

And I also think that Karl Marx's grave is just another Communist plot :-(

Dermot, when I saw your query, and hello to everyone else I am not ignoring, I thought of the old question, which weighs more a ton of feathers or a ton of iron.

However that is not your question. The weight of a bucket of feathers will depend on the size of the bucket, particularly the internal dimensions, the size type and weight of each feather, the number of feathers which can be placed in the bucket, whether the bucket is filled to the brim only or heaped up on top, how firmly pack are the feathers, and probably but incidentally, the amount of trouble you are having with the birds whose feathers you are trying to place in the bucket.

If you could provide that information I am sure someone on these boards will be able to give an answer.

AuntySherlock et al - I'll come back to you with some answers during the next millennium - so, keep your pencil sharpened.

Last Christmas, I put the turkey in the oven & then went to church services. On my return, I opened the oven door to see how things were progressing.

To my astonishment, there was the turkey standing in the middle of the roasting tin with a fierce looking growl on his face. He yelled "Dermot, either you light this oven or give me my feathers back because I'm freezing in here!"
