It was brilliant last night, but as everyone says, the adverts are a nuisance. Hope Mary and Matthew do get together, feel sorry for the fiance, she is turning out better than first thought.

Someone has mentioned about Thomas and Mrs O'Brien being related. Are they?

Shall be so sad when the series finishes, we so look forward to watching it.

I mentioned they were related just assumed so, could
be wrong.

last nights episode was very good and poor William, so sad.
will be interesting to see what happens with Sir Richard and Mary
also Mathew.

Burghclere nr Newbury is not a million miles from Highclere Castle the house that Downton is based on.

Thats why i watch Downton cause its a zillion miles away from reality,
I like being entertained, reality is outside my door and when I'm wanting
to find out fact in any subject I research it, thank you for that insite to your
great aunt very interesting indeed.

last night, although at times I did find it somewhat
confusing going from story to story, its all happening
in Downton, roll on next week.

Well dear Thomas has had his comeuppance at last. As the weeks have rolled by I have been overcome by an urgency to place something round his neck!!!

Last episode next week.......so theres an awful lot of loose ends to tie up in one episode...or will they keep us all hanging on for Series 3??

Have heard they`ve filmed a special episode to be shown on xmas day...

Morning Rita and all,

The best part for me Thomas getting done over, how sweet
was that. As you say so many questions to be answered and
next week being the last episode will we get them all answered.
Looks like the lady of the house has caught the Spanish! flu.

Either way I will miss the series when it finishes.

Thomas thought he was very clever by buying food stuff etc
on the black market and tried to sell it to the cook at Downton.
It was used to make a cake and was inedible, so he lost all his
savings and destroyed the lot. so much for thinking he would
become rich through this scheme.

I would like someone to turn up at Downton who saw Thomas deliberately hold his hand up above the trench, and spill the beans.

Oh dear tomorrow is the last one in the series, getting withdrawal
symptoms already. :-( Hope it will be a good one.
