Brilliant book!! true life account of one 'maid's life in 1940s Soho. (Maid for a working girl, not the other!). I cant put this book down, so intriguing that the publishers are asking for info on Mae's mysterious death which happened in 1977. Although I think Mae Roberts is a false name. Going to West London in Oct, going to see the property on Rupert St!! |
