We don't have naked caulis in my neck of the woods but I hear the Hampshire County Cauli Leaf Throwing Championship entrants have been raiding their local supermarkets and farms. Cheats Ah say, cheats! :-0

I like to cook cauliflower with some of the greens as well. think it tastes better.
Get them with green leaves on from the local farm shop.

Is it just me.........or does anyone else get cross when they buy a Cauliflower?

It seems you can't buy a Cauliflower anywhere these days without most of the green leaves chopped off!
Ok, perhaps it looks more attractive on the shelf because you can actually see the Cauli.....but i want all the green bits too.
I had a local farm shop which unfortunately closed down about 18 mnths ago. The Cauliflowers that were displayed in the shop had the green tops chopped off.........but you could nip out the back and grab one with all the green leaves still intact.

Perhaps's it's just me..........but i likes a bit of roughage i do!! :-S
