I think your cauli looks lovely - His Nibs asked if you used permangenate of potash :-S but I say that would make it brown - having bathed in it in student days :-0 :-0 :-D

I have seen Shaney's purple cauliflower.......(And it's a beeuutty!) only because clever cloggs Dizzi told me where to find it.........

Wend, I thought she had Shares in "Tena Lady" pmsl. ;-),Other than that find a good plumber. Beetroot must never be pickled otherwise you end up looking like a prune after eating it. and don,t forget the Shallots or Julia of Derbyshire will be miffed :-D

Can we talk about Rhubarb today ?

Cause I've just grown my first crop !! :-)


I'm a bit sceptical to eat it as I someone told me that horse manure was good for rhubarb , now not sure if it will taste like Poo !! :-S

I lurve beetroot Merlin :-D as a hot veg with white onion sauce or cold in a sandwich. Never ever soaked in vinegar - Sacrelidge, Ah say Sacrelage!
