My recent posting on this subject was the subject of a complaint and it has been removed. It appears free speech is no longer allowed in this country.

Will the person who complained have the courage to identify themselves and speak to me man to man or woman to man as the case may be.

l still say you have no compassion ..... free speech is allowed... hence my posting. But l do feel you did'nt have to be quite so unkind. The dealers are the scums!!

Me neither! But,personally,I think it should have stayed as it is always interesting to see how much compassion, or lack of, there is on GR.

I feel it is sad that her fans/friends found it necessary to leave offerings of alcohol etc.

Your problem Burton is you do NOT know the personal circumstances of GR members. This is a subject which many of us have had experience of and sometimes a thoughtless comment will appear too damn cruel when read by somebody terribly hurt by past events.

I am pleased that Amy had a proper Jewish Ceremony and that she is now at rest.

I wonder if she will be interred at Golders Green? I have family there, and there is a big plaque to Marc Bolam. When the anniversary of his death comes around, people gather to pay their respects, which is fine.

No doubt if she is there, that will become an annual event.

This will be my last posting on this thread, there is nothing left for me to say on the subject.

why were no drugs or drug taking equipment
found at her house???
even a ex drug addict
would have something left over they had over looked

it really smells of a after death clean up to me

I cant see the point in a tidy up to be honest Joy, the tests on Amy will show if drugs was involved.

I really felt for her Mother she looked in bits, my heart went out to her, Amy was still someones daughter.

Amy Winehouse was cremated.

It would be a lovely thought but I very much doubt it as evidenced by her fans leaving botlles of drink etc at her tributes and of course her hit song.........

I do agree it is such a sad thing. Drugs or no drugs she is still a daughter of a loving family who did their best to help her. I have a daughter just coming up to 26 and I just can't think of what it must be like for Amy's family right now.

We all have our thoughts on Amy's life and death , no doubt.

Having read back, just this page, I have 2 things to say about her fans or so called fans , we are talking about peeps leaving bottles of Vodka as' tributes'...Very sad , sick or WUMs ......then those who adored her left 'fitting' tributes.
I was not a fan, tho she was a very talented singer.
The family had loss their beloved Amy, let them be at peace as she is now.

Amy's funeral has now past, may she RIP and I think as Mau said so should this thead be laid to rest. in respect to her and her family

As it seems to have become obligatory to deny reporting Burton I will as well. As Anne said, it makes our responses nonsense when his post has gone.

I responded on the boards but don't see why anyone should feel "obliged" to confess and engage in debate with him about it.

I didn't report said posting either. While I did disagree with what was said by Burton I respect others have different opinions and are entitled to them.
I would own up if I had reported.
Nothing more to say about this topic other than I hope her family are left to grieve in peace.

I thought this was a thread to remember the life of Amy,and to have compassion for her family for their sad loss,Not to comment on the why,s and wherefores of her lifestyle or argue about how she led it.A young talented woman has died in tragic circumstances,Why not now let her rest in the peace she could,nt find before? as I said before, COMPASSION for her family is needed.If anything nasty is to be said, say it about the people who led her down the path of self destruction,they are the ones who should be castigated,not the people who sympathise for her loss.**M**
