Sorry to hear that Ash has had a set back again. He really is being tested isn't he Izzy?

Regarding Headley court not informing anyone of his admittance to hospital. That sounds all wrong and sounds as if, when things are back to what passes for normal with you, you should follow it up. And maybe speak to your MP. Surely at least his personal recovery officer should be informed.

I hope that Ash overcomes the latest setback and is soon smiling again.

MMmmmm !!! had an interesting phone call with the mod just now, apparently it is not the policy of Headley court to inform next of kin that our son has been taken to hospital, in fact they didn't inform anyone, not even Ash's personal recovery officer, he only found out when he called Ash about another matter!!! Had anything happened to Ash when he was in surgery just who the hell would have told us!!!! xx Sorry to rant but i am truely astounded by this information.

Hope today brings good news for you all and Ash will soon be on the mend.

I hope all has gone well with Ash's surgery tonight.I'm just going to have a look at the latest on the Invicta Foundation.Tissues by my side ;-)

Hello Izzy - I've not been on here much recently and saw your thread at the top of the page - so sorry to see Ash has another setback and now in hospital again - hope all goes well over the next few days.

Ash is back in hospital tonight!!! He has infection in his leg again, and has to go into surgery at 8pm tonight they need to see what is going on. I am devestated, he was just starting to get on with things, his wounds had just almost healed and he was able to go swimming, really wish the guy on the top floor would show us a bit of kindness and give my lad a break for a while.

I am still thinking about you Ash.
What an inspiration you are.

Well Headley Court is making our Ash work hard as usual , he went with Battleback to do some rockwall climbing recently, and the guys from Battleback very kindly videoed it, you can take a look at it on The Invicta Foundation website, but be warned you may need a tissue!!!, jeesh the lad makes it look sooo easy!! xxx :-D

I haven't been here for sometime and it is great to hear that Ash is continuing to overcome hurdles and move forward.
