On FB Izzy said he was in surgery for 13 hours, I fall to pieces when my children have minor ops. What a wonderful Mum she is.

Praying that Ash recovers quickly.

Just got call from hospital ash is ok and just got out of theatres is going to critical care as he's been in theatres for so long. Will know more tomorrow.

I am sure that Izzy will be delighted with all your comments. I did know the name of the girl who is now the fiancee of Ash but was not sure if I should name her, so thanks Liz.

When I go back to UK to see my new granddaughter I shall be netting up with Izzy, at last! We have tried many times but something always got in the way.

I hope that you are all safe and not having too much snow, it looks from the sky as if it will be with me very soon.

I knew about the engagement at the time but not from Izzy so didn't feel it my business to tell everyone, but I am very pleased for Ash and Jade and hope they will soon be ready to make those wedding arrangements and he will be standing tall in the photos. They have had a hard road to travel and I hope they will have a happy wedding day to enjoy as soon as they can.

I bet Izzy and the family are thrilled to bits.

How nice to see that Ash feels confident enough in himself to get engaged. I wish them both the best of futures. \she must be a lovely girl to have stood by him so far. My wounded srviceman has proved an excellent husband over 56yrs, so I am sure Ash can do it.
