	Back from hols and catching up. I hope the treatment has shrunk the tumour. I am sure your Dad feels better in himself for being home. And your Mum for having him there. <3

	Thanks for the update on your dad,PP. Pleased to know that he is now home with your mum and that he seems to be coping. Sending prayers and positive thoughts to you all. Like you, finding out that my father had cancer was the hardest thing I had to cope with in my life. It certainly opened my eyes to what is important in life and not to take people and life for granted That was thirty years ago, we only knew about it four days before my dad died.Treatment for cancer have come a long way since then with a lot better survival rate, so let's hope that your dad will have at least a couple of years more with you all. Take careall of you and stay strong. Love, Sallie.x

Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 7,051 Send Message	Hi Everyone Once again thankyou from myself and family for all your kind words Dad will most certainly be spoilt rotten today he is plodding on at the moment and seems to be coping well he has his down days and up days like all of us Mum is wonderful she tends to all his needs and has refused any help at the moment but she knows we are all here to help her if and when she needs it This is the hardest thing I have had to go through in my life it certainly opens your eyes to love and cherish your loved ones and take nothing for granted PP xx <3

Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 7,051 Send Message	Hi Everyone Sorry I havent been on very much but things are up and down at the moment We are all having our good days and bad days at the moment Dad has had his radiotherapy and is now back home with mum she is spoiling him rotten He has another appointment in a couple of weeks with specialist to see if it has shrunk the tumour and what the way forward from there is We are all still hopeful and staying positive We know he will never be cured but we hope that the treatment will give him more time to spend with us Thankyou PP xx <3
