In Albert Square, the local GP throughout the years has always drunk in the local pub, socialising with patients and has carried out medical consultations on the street inviting patients to drop in for appointments/tests later that day!......errrr... In my world, I have to fight my way past the unfriendly receptionist for an appointment in three,four or even five weeks time!

my dct'd are brilliant, ring on the morning, dct rings you back with advice or a apointment, frees up the app for people who really need em,

i like the way the dct always ends up sleeping with his patients, not allowed in real life, only in soap land :)

When we had our own pub one of our friends and regulars used to be a GP in the town but had since moved to another practise (sp?) about 4 miles away. One of our staff aid that she didn't like serving him especially when he had had a few because he had seen her "bits" :-0

I managed to miss four weeks worth and pick it up without looking at the programmes I had recorded. It does seem to have lost its way, they have obviously brought in Amira and the baby to see if they can revive interest. And Ian and Mandy that is just not believable..... At least the creepy doctor has gone.
