I hope Ronnie Mitchell stays in the South Pacific. I got sick of her moaning and as for her sister............... I sometimes don't even bother to watch East Enders now. All that shouting. I don't know how it beats Corrie at the awards.

I DO like Dot Cotton, she is the only believable character in the whole show. She has always been a religious person, and that has not changed. She doesn't quote the Bible so much these days, but she has not changed much at all.

Ian is, and always has been a weasel, how these women fall for him beats me. That constant lip-licking. Ugh.

Max is becoming a cartoon character, and Tania is fast becoming Jessica Rabbit. Her clothes are getting tighter by the episode.

Does anyone know what whatshisname (David Essex) secret is?The letter that Jean read.

Rumour has it that David Essex will leave at the end of the month.

He is on tour with his all singing and dancing show All The Fun Of The Fair. But he will be back later on in the year.

oh, david essex,i loved him when he was at the height of his fame(i was about 12)saw all his films,i think hes abit younger than my dad,and i must say hes still not bad looking.but i dont watch eastenders and my hero worship finished many yrs ago. :-D

David Essex was prolific before he became a pop star.

He was in the West End in shows like Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita with Elaine Page.

A nice bit of rough, if I may say so, in the nicest possible way.

David Essex is quite convincing as a soap actor and is doing a good job considering he has to act with the two very bad actors who play his sons!.......All the slapping each other on the back/ laughing/ jocking is way over the top and unrealistic.

Perhaps they are off darn the ol Frog and Toad [cockney rhyming sland for road] oh dear.

These new Moons are driving me mad. They are so over the top, boring, tasteless, and rotten actors.

Michael is creepy though. I don't know why Vanessa has agreed to help him. Didn't the David Essex character [oh dear my mind is going] help her when Carole slung her out of Max's house.

And another thing. Why is he bothering with Carole?

Tell him to look through the tv screen, and see ME.

I think Vanessa is helping Michael for money as she is now homeless and penniless. He has some angst with his father but not sure why. I agree don't know why he is bothering with Carole. She is a bit brittle but a v good actress.

Now I know the name of the character, Michael has changed dramatically. He used to be a barrister's clerk in the ?90's series 'This Life' about a group of lawyers sharing a house. He was a cracker then but now looks very thin and gaunt.

Good point Rita. He can't still be with darren and Jodi because they haven't got anywhere to live. And Heather is off gallivanting in Southend. And what a stupid storyline that was!!!
