I seem to be somewhat out of the loop as i have no idea what was said on face book. If it was people Julia regarded as friends,, that is really bad news.
I would like to know who these people were, if some kind person would pm me.

The boards are not the same without Julias' friendly, warm, funny, upbeat posts. Julia we miss you.

Morning Everyone,

No matter what was said on Facebook about Julia, I think this thread is true indication of how people really regard her. Hope she is ok, and will be back in due course.

I do not believe for one minute that Julia would be affected by some foolish comments about her posted on a website that she has no interest in and never looks at.

She would be far more likely to be upset by the actions of those who brought those comments to this board purely for making capital out of the upheaval and distress that they knew it would cause to both Julia and the other party involved ………….aided and abetted by a couple of others who Julia looked upon as friends. No doubt she now knows otherwise.

Nevertheless, I doubt that even that would make Julia walk away from here without saying something.

The likelihood is that she has some personal predicament that we can only guess about and the best thing the rest of us can do, with BC’s permission, is to keep this caring but light-hearted thread warm for Julia to catch up with when she returns.

I feel Julia would enjoy this thread, she is missed and people
are concerned for her, I also think she would enjoy the banter
on here.

my message to Julia, sent on 5/2/ has not been opened, if she'd seen it notified to her email I'm pretty sure she would have replied. I do think that even if she had decided to leave she would have let someone know by now. It wouldn't be like her to let people worry.

Julia does not go on facebook. I would not want to know if anything untoward was being written about me on there.

Apart from that, messages have not been opened for over a month, and I last had contact from her on 25 January. I hope that Sallie, I think it was, may be able to make personal contact with Julia.

Whilst I can understand Julia not wanting to come on the boards if she has been upset by it all I have to wonder why no response to pms . Julia would recognise the names and know that those people bear her no animosity etc.

It' s strange, but throughout the time this thread has been running, different thoughts and ideas re Julia's absence have been going round in my mind.
Surely, if Julia were too ill to come on here she would want her friends to know the reason.
Again, the timing has been brought up, and I didnt realise that things were said on face book, as am not on there.
Just maybe it was enough to make her stop posting. Even though Julia is fiesty and well able to fight her corner, she may have just been disillusioned by the pettiness of it all.

Missed all the nasty stuff but also heard about it.
Some days you can be feisty and answer back and
not let it get to you, but if you feel unwell it will get you
down especially if there are a few folk getting at you,
seen it on GR threads a few times, not good.

I agree with you entirely Merlin. Julia seems to have diasappeared straight after that episode. I wasn't around either, but from what I understand, Julia was being spoken about by certain members of GR on Facebook. The comments were very unkind and in my opinion quite out of order.

Meybe she decided after that rift that was on here (Didnt see it but people have refered to it) just not to come on here. I gather it was,nt very nice.**M**.Sad if she does,nt.

As Chris, who has been in mail correspondence, has not heard from Julia, and her messages here have not been opened for several weeks, then I am very concerned indeed now about Julia's welfare.
