Sallie's letter was returned with 'not enough information' on it. She psoted that on another hread and obviously forgot to put it on this one. She now has a friend of her daughter who thinks she knows Julia's OH so will look out for him at the allotments.

I take it you have never ropped a stitch Glossy Ann?
Nothing like an Arran jumper with a few rop stitches in it.

They do it all the time in Derbyshire. I am sure D H Lawrence has mentioned it in one of his books or maybe that bit was censored first time around. I think mine arrived in a plain brown wrapper.
