i do hope julia isnt seriously ill in hospital? is there anyone who knows her well or who lives near her that is in contact?obviously her oh doesnt come on here otherwise we might have heard.

i must say i am beginning to get rather worried as we all are. just dont know what we can do to find out if she is ok?

Some one on this thread has sent a letter to the road she lives in. We used to correspond by mail on GR but never had her email address.
I know her attacks of pain were becoming very frequent and she had only been out of hospital a couple of days when she disappeared.

Did her wool/knitting thread turn nasty in anyway? One day I was not on and the next day when I looked for it - it had gone. Just a thought that perhaps it had and she had decided to give GR a miss.

Just checked I mailed her on 25 Jan asking where her knitting thread had gone and was she OK?

I don't think the thread turned nasty Chris. and yes I think 25th Jan was the last time she posted.
Sallie has written but she didn't know the full address, only the name of the road. I think we just have to wait until we hear something as there isn't any other way that we can find out.
I agree it is worrying though.

Of course there is always the possibility that her computer has given up.

PH...........I also saw that thread..........I think Julia would rise above it, have seen her defend herself before....If you are right, I think she would have let us know (or someone by pm) her intention to quit the boards.

It has been 20 days now without a post from her, I hope Sals letter got through and we will hear good news shortly.

I'm hoping that the letter will get to Julia, too. The post office are probably still trying to work out which house she lives in.lol!! I put my address on the back of the envelope, so that they would return it, if they can't find out where she lives.

It is really worrying that we haven't heard from her for 20 days. If and when I hear anything from her, I'll let you all know as soon I hear.

I assume it was late at night that the thread turned nasty. Julia would not have seen it as she is never on the boards after about 6.30pm. And if she was voluntarily leaving because of that she would have said. It was aggravating and quarrelsome and petty bickering and the WUMs were out when I went to bed at about 10.30 so it must have been later if it was as bad as P Holly says.

Even if our lovely Julia did see said thread she would still respond to PM s that have been sent to her. I am hoping it is the computer that has gone phut and that Julia is very much alright. I need her back on here even if it is just to say "please explain Perse"

I am pleased to see the thread is still jogging along nicely, but still no sign of Julia. *frets...I even brought back a small statue of 'David' from Florence,thought a tasteful nude would cheer her up. I think Persie is right, it must be her pc playing up. Ciao. BC XX
