Yep. Hubby thinks we are justo going for a play with the van, while I have got 15 graves and 14 houses to find.

sounds a great trip.

Many many years since I went to Chatsworth!

is there a special reason why you are MAD today?

Chatsworth, Sylvia. April 11th. Only about 15 miles from us. While there, while hubby is working out the caravan, I am going to various nearby places to find graves and pics of rellies houses. That is my plan. Somehow I think I will be working out drainage systems instead.

Love

Meg who is MAD.

Just wondering why Bob has his learjet parked on his apron though? Not very hygienic :))

sorry its Robert that has the Lear Jet. on the apron at ringway

the apron is the parking area for aircraft, and Ringway is an airport..(manchester)??

thanks for the accolade, Robert...LOL

Bob

How is it that although I wear a 'bib' apron whilst cooking, I still manage to splatter my clothes???

Where's your first destination Meg?

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 4 Feb 2011 04:41

glad to hear you are getting the van sorted out

when do you take off for the first trip?

Madmeg

Madmeg Report 4 Feb 2011 00:35

Pyroflam is the new UK stuff. Oven, hob and micro. Says freezer to oven, but doesn't specify what type of oven. Will take care in the microwave.

Don't want medium rare fingers.

Madmeg Report 4 Feb 2011 00:29

For those who might not know, Ringway is Manchester. So that's our Robert with the ketchup butties sorted. BTW Robert, if you make lumpy gravy, the kids think the lumps are meat. But being a clever chef, you will know that.

The magazine rack was to stop hubby piling stuff on the seats, so I am devasted about that. Will have to have a cardboard box instead. BUT the new van has 2 points to connect your MP3 player. Can somebody tell me what one of them is? I'm still on CDs as being modern. My daughter mentioned an i-pod. Is that something to do with peas?

Is a cell phone made of cells??? Is it human??? Does it talk???
Nope me n Bob are not the same person girls, Bob is a very affluent personage of repute, Me, I am just a Tomato ketchup butty maker with a Lear jet parked up on the apron at Ringway.

BTW

you definitely should sue that company

...... how could they say there were 9 drawers and give you only 8

and how will you manage without the promised magazine rack

good for a £1 million settlement I would think

:)))

SylviaInCanada Report 31 Jan 2011 01:01

Meg

we still don't have a cell phone

and we don't download movies from Netfix, or whatever it's called

daughter calls us dinosaurs!

Madmeg

Madmeg Report 31 Jan 2011 00:53

Are Robert and Bobtanian the same person? I don't think so.

Did I not post that I miscounted. New Caravan has only 8 drawers, not 9. I am therefore rejecting it an unfit for purpose. And no magazine rack as advertised. Great disappointment. Will be suing the company.

And the fella called Jet.

Anyway, bought a new water container on wheels and a new waste container on wheels. Everybody else has had them for years, so new for us. Well, we were the last people on earth to get a colour telly.

A Lear Jet is usually a privately owned status symbol..
a twin jet engined small passenger aircraft.........

Ie most people have a car, (LOL SOME people might have a Caravan, attached.......LOL)

the upper crust might have a Lear Jet(sans caravan)

Wot's a lear jet?

It's me who needs a chef - can't cook at all.

You might find some Seals in Canada. Maybe rustle up a few dinners with them.

Exciting stuff tomorrow - off to caravan place to buy stuff like toilet fluid. New caravan has NO cupboards to facilitate breaking ones own nose. Nine drawers. NINE. EIGHT more than previous van.

Bliss!

Robert

Robert Report 27 Jan 2011 09:35

I'll just get my lear jet ready :)))

So, I want some stuff to use in the microwave other than glass. Surely there must be some stuff out there, like pseudo plastic.

Oh never mind. We will be nipping over to Canada (well perhaps not quite "nipping", I gather its a bit more difficult) and Sylvia and Janey can feed us.
