About an inch fell over night here in Telford area, sky looks as if there's more to come. The roads were all clear yesterday after the first dusting though, going out in an hour or so will see how they are today. |

Hi all. I'm in Wolverhampton, West Midlands and we have had about 1" overnight. The snow is very soft, I am concerned about it freezing over tonight and more snow is expected during the day. At the moment, the roads are clear of snow and ice (main roads) and traffic not too bad as school runs are cancelled in our area. It is biting cold and temperatures are not rising above freezing. Suggest any shopping be done today as tomorrow may not be as good to travel. |

Hi - is anyone in the Luton area? OH is supposed to be going there tomorrow (from Wiltshire) - a bit worried! He won't go if weather is bad. We don't have any snow here yet but its very cold. |

No snow or frost at the moment in south coastal Kent, but just a few miles away on higher ground the weekend snow still lingers, although not more than a good dusting. |

Snowed in here in West Lothian, dug the drive out yesterday (approx 10 inches) when it eventually stopped snowing Oh said your wasting your time it's going to snow again, sure enough the same amount of snow fell during the night and covered the drive again, so I've given up for now! It's also freezing cold, kept the heating on all night last night. Couldn't get out to feed the birds, so threw the nuts and seeds out of the bedroom window for them!! Not sure what the neighbours thought I was doing?? Schools and Uni. are closed, kids having great fun in the snow. |

We have had a good covering here, in mid Derbyshire, like many others. Whilst driving home from Derby city centre at lunch-time, we are north of there, it looked very picturesque, but that is where the sentiment stops. I am only too well aware, what more snow on top of what we have, will be like. If you do not have to go out, then DON'T |

Its a beautiful sunny day in North Devon and I just had a gentle stroll down the beach with the mutt. There's no shortage of surfers in the sea at Saunton but as someone told me, its warmer in than out. |

one of my dogs is a bichon pup! his legs arent long enough to allow him to have a wee without getting his belly in the snow, im not going into detail but wel you can see why i made the statement above, one of my kids works in thirsk and made it into work this morning but im calling him home the minute it starts getting to bad, at least they have mum to come to the rescue as my 4 x 4 is all fueled up and snow kept clear, only trouble is the other car users not being able to get out the way. thats where i have problems, have alook at the other thread i started as you can see when we are going to get some more snow coming, |
