No snow or frost at the moment in south coastal Kent, but just a few miles away on higher ground the weekend snow still lingers, although not more than a good dusting. |

Hi - is anyone in the Luton area? OH is supposed to be going there tomorrow (from Wiltshire) - a bit worried! He won't go if weather is bad. We don't have any snow here yet but its very cold. |

Hi all. I'm in Wolverhampton, West Midlands and we have had about 1" overnight. The snow is very soft, I am concerned about it freezing over tonight and more snow is expected during the day. At the moment, the roads are clear of snow and ice (main roads) and traffic not too bad as school runs are cancelled in our area. It is biting cold and temperatures are not rising above freezing. Suggest any shopping be done today as tomorrow may not be as good to travel. |

About an inch fell over night here in Telford area, sky looks as if there's more to come. The roads were all clear yesterday after the first dusting though, going out in an hour or so will see how they are today. |

Listening to the 'School Closures' list on local radio this morning, I noted that the worst of the snow must have stopped in a town about 5 miles north from here, but went up to Glossop and the Hope Valley, veering to Hayley county. I hope it stops there. I was hoping to go out today to have a spend in Dun Elm. Oh well, perhaps better luck tomorrow. |

Amokavid, I am all too a regular user of the Emercency services, and am living in dread of having to call the Ambulance out, because of the roads down where I live. The main roads are being kept fairly clear, but it is the side roads that are suffering, despite being gritted every night, so far. |
