Bronte Country has about two inch, but looks like more to come.
The problem is it tends to stick then turn to ice which is more of a problem.

Freezing here in North Wales, a little sunshine at the moment. Our drive is still iced over from Thursday and where the sun does not hit we still have remnants of the snow.

No snow for us next few days, if they get it right!! Off to do a bit of shopping etc before the winds arrive tomorrow Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

not too far from you lot in yarm, we had 8 inches last night and another 2 this morning, lightening around 8 ish, took hubby 1 3/4 hrs to get to work which is normally 15 mins, god help them coming home tonight if the forecast is right.

let the dogs out for a wee, its taken longer to get the snowballs out of their fur than letting them pee in the consevatory and then mop up and dry the floor!!!!!

Hi Dawn,

You live in one of my fav places ~often over there to do shopping.

Took hubby over 2 hours to do a 20mins journey ~not looking forwards to this evening as his sometimes has deliveries to do and they forecast it coming in bad again.

I have 2 dogs one loves it and the other will not even going out it ~so i have to push him out to do what comes naturally.

Take Care all.

one of my dogs is a bichon pup! his legs arent long enough to allow him to have a wee without getting his belly in the snow, im not going into detail but wel you can see why i made the statement above, one of my kids works in thirsk and made it into work this morning but im calling him home the minute it starts getting to bad, at least they have mum to come to the rescue as my 4 x 4 is all fueled up and snow kept clear, only trouble is the other car users not being able to get out the way. thats where i have problems, have alook at the other thread i started as you can see when we are going to get some more snow coming,

as for coming over here to go shoping, take care with the parking nazis, they are very vicious about it all,

Its a beautiful sunny day in North Devon and I just had a gentle stroll down the beach with the mutt. There's no shortage of surfers in the sea at Saunton but as someone told me, its warmer in than out.

We have had a good covering here, in mid Derbyshire, like many others. Whilst driving home from Derby city centre at lunch-time, we are north of there, it looked very picturesque, but that is where the sentiment stops. I am only too well aware, what more snow on top of what we have, will be like. If you do not have to go out, then DON'T
My one conselation is that, my garden looks the same as everyone elses.
Keep safe everyone, and take care.

No snow here in south Hampshire......hope it stays that way too!!

It's been a beautiful sunny day but the temperature is dropping fast now and getting quite cloudy, grey ones not white ones.

Stay safe all of you who have got snow.

Snowed in here in West Lothian, dug the drive out yesterday (approx 10 inches) when it eventually stopped snowing Oh said your wasting your time it's going to snow again, sure enough the same amount of snow fell during the night and covered the drive again, so I've given up for now! It's also freezing cold, kept the heating on all night last night. Couldn't get out to feed the birds, so threw the nuts and seeds out of the bedroom window for them!! Not sure what the neighbours thought I was doing?? Schools and Uni. are closed, kids having great fun in the snow.
Take care in this freezing weather.
