My grandfather was a railway Navvy and does not appear on the 1911 census. Does any one know of a site where lists of railway employees are kept His name was Charles Frederick Robinson Poole b1877/78 in Abbots Ripton, Cambs. I am sure he met and married his wife, Elizabeth Rushent b 1883, while employed by the railway as she is from Wiltshire. Any help gratefully received, Sue |
