Morning Barbra and Everyone, I hope everyone feels better then I do today?

It rained ALL day yesterday, all night and is looking pretty wet out of my windows today, so I have left the curtains drawn, I know we desperately need the rain for the gardens but I I cannot stand wet dull days it makes me really depressed, I have that winter SAD thing, its horrible. :-(

I know when it's horrible wet weather before I get out of bed because I ache all over from the arthritis.

Have a lovely day today all of you, no matter what the weather is like.

Just back from camping,lovely on Fri,sat outside well wrapped up, till about 9-30.Was chilly at night but took an extra sleeping bag and a fleece as i'm a cold tattie.Poured with rain nearly all Sat but luckily the sun was out first thing so got the tent packed away dry.

Hello Everyone,

Its afternoon now, I was going to come on here earlier but wanted to get the hens cleaned out and washing on the line, I have managed with help to do both only to find my hens have red mite!! :-( I hate it when that happens, I need to get some more powder to put on the hens, I have washed the house out with red mite liquid killer, its now drying in the sun, lets hope it dries before the rain comes.
Hubby rescued one hen that decided to fly up onto my composting bins, as I went to grab her she flew over the fence into next doos garden :-0 next door has some lovely cabbage and lettuce growing, I was terrified she would get eating them before we could catch her, luckily hubby got hold of her and she is now back in our garden.

Finally I have been able to add to the threads, did get in this morning, typed my message for it all to crash when I tried to send, been trying ever since!!

A mixed bag of weather here, its sunny and warm at the moment, but 10 minutes ago we had heavy rain, not sure whether to put washing out or tumble dry it.

I have put a new pic on my avatar, it was taken yesterday. :-D

Hello all

I have been successful in being offered a position as a Census Collector for the upcoming Census.

Middle of winter here so I will need a big umbrella: well I would in 'normal' years, but currently could almost go round in shorts!!

Cold at nights but warm days and still no rain.

Busy weekend here as it is the Installation for my lodge.

I hope that you are all well and that your respective furry friends are also in good health.

Afternoon everyone, thank you all for your good wishes on my weigh in, if you didn't see how well I did I lost 5lbs!

I have been to the South Of England Show this morning, at Ardingly, it was pretty cold at times, I hired a mobility scooter while I was their, made life very much easier, it was lovely to go again after missing it for a good few years.
Spent a lot of time in the animal sheds, loved the cows and hens, flower tent was gorgeous, some stunning arrangements.
