more rain here today and it is much needed. Very cold at the moment so we have lit the fire. Like many places, our power charges are horrific, so we have to be careful with our heating! Still, I'll not complain about the rain!!

I think it was Joan, she lives on Putney Hill in London, so we'd walk down the hill to the shops, be it slowly, but have to take a bus back as she couldn't walk it back, but apart from that, it was walking round the museum and such like.

I am back as you can see! I had a lovely week away, although we did do a few days out, my cousin is elderly and has problem feet, she is 80 and has this year just gone a bit down hill, she now uses a walking stick which she really didn't want to do, ( I use one all the time and I m only 54!)
Anyway, we visited an exhibition at the V&A ( Vistoria and Albert Museum, we were going to do it over 2 days as it was on 2 floors, it was really lovely to go to, I've not been before, I think I may also be onn the TV sometime, as we walked up the slope to the V&A, a film crew and someone doing an interview were filming towards the museum, so we stopped and watched, so I was hoping this might be my 2 minutes of fame! :-)
We were due to go the London Eye last monday, what a scorcher! we thought it was daft to go as it was boiling hot here in London, 33c at 10.30, we had our flight booked for 1.30, so we stayed home instead, did a few few other thing on the other days.
We went for tea with one of her friends, a lovely dear lady, she had fallen a couple of weeks before but insisted we had tea and cake! arghhh my diet, anyway, I had cake and tea,, poor dear struggled on her swollen foot and wouldn't accept help.
I am going again to stay in a few months time to finish our V&A tour and to do the Eye.
To make my week absolutely fantastic, I came home and went to WW and had my weekly weigh in. I have lost 3lbs! in a week, I am really chuffed :-D

Had a great time in Blackpool,even seen the sun.
Got a few big bruises,but thats what I get for acting likid and going to the pleasure beach. got very brave and went on rides I said I woult never do lol.
Inluding been shot up in the air and luckily you do come back lol.
