Brrrrrr its cold out, had a peep outside cause out this afternoon
and boy was it chilly, at least its dry so far.

hello Barbra and all, windy here also, don't like it when it gets too
windy. seen surgeon today and pleased with outcome of ops. xrays
looking good. asked if I needed anything else done declined his offer
jokingly mentioned my hands and said he could do something for the
right one as it was the worst but not at this time. weather doesn't help.

Joan my OH makes the soup and never been
disappointed yet, we also have to freeze as he
makes too much but its never wasted.lolx ;-)

Morning everyone, Thank you Barbra for your good wishes: re Knee and hip, its a lot better today.
I think the cold weather is coming to us this week, so we will have to put some of the heating on today ready for heating up over night tonight.

Joan I love lentil soup, I usually make a large batch and freeze it.

It's still sunny and warm here at the moment but the wind is cold, it must be getting colder at night because Sid is coming in earlier and laying by the gas heater we have going during the evening. He stays in all night with us and is let out in the morning. I just can't let my cats roam at night, we are only a couple of houses down into our road which has a main road running across the end of us, I know when it quietens down at night he would be tempted to wander across the road into the fields, during the day he is happy enough to plod around the back gardens.

Hi all, late today, watching the rugby, so disappointed for
Wales, then by the time I have a shower got settled down
the phone never stopped(family chats) and so I'm here at
last.

Well i know i wrote on here this morning but where it has gone i dont know,It was just be for 2am

Well good morning everyone.

I am waiting in for my daughter Teri to bring a better bedsettee over for me today. Just got to get rid of other one, i have when i get back from holiday, as i go tomorrow.

I am getting a lift half to my friend Pats who i am going with. Which is handy as the under ground line i need is only half open this weekend again.Like half of the other lines are closed.
The lift will take me other side of London.Then get the main line to Southend.Then Pat is picking me up there.

Its sunny clear skies here this morning,but very chilly tho.

And we survived, says it all, I also lit the Lroom fire and set table for my
parents coming home at tea time, never thought anything about it, just
my chores.

Ours was under the house beside the coal cellars.
I used to set the fire and light it, wouldn't let a young
person do that nowadays, mum would get charged.

LOL Joan just wondered as was going to tell your OH to
keep moving just incase!!!!!

Remember when I was young used to light a fire under stone
boiler to get washing done, thank goodness those days are
long gone.

My son is thinking of getting one of those as dil has
been going on about it for ages, think they are a good idea.
So does that mean you are looking for washing to do!! ;-)

Hi Joan, a posh washing line ohhh how snazzy.if they don't
dry at least the wind will give them that fresh smell to them.
