Hello all, just a flying visit.

Well, what a proud couple of days for our State, with the Queen here to open CHOGM. Unfortunately, tomorrow the main road through the City Centre is to be closed for the entire day for the opening of the meeting. I'm glad that I don't live in Perth!

The weather continues to be nice and moderate with temps in the low 20's.

Hi Marion, long time no speak, yep he just loves his coat
and waits for it to be put on him before he goes for his walks,
obvious he doesn't like the cold.

It hasn't stopped raining here today and I have acquired a
swimming pool in my back garden.lolx :-D

I am back home again. Had a great holiday with Babs and Pat.Weather was great, just one night of rain.

Went to see twin yesterday, They doing well apart from that the whole family are down with a cold.

Marion glad you had a good holiday to.

Hope you got a new car Dolly.

Yes had a good holiday Barbara thanks.
Food in hotel was horrible,worste i have ever been to.My son said it was the best he had,goodness knows what hotels they are used to lol
Room and our pool beside us was good though.
Was a 3* but to me it was more a 2*. We usually go 4* so I suppose thats the difference.

In saying that.we paid the same as we would have for our 4* but then we had two *free child places* with four adults. I've come to the conclusion....the kids dont really go free.

Was good weather though pity to come back to this lol.

late and spent more time in waiting room than with the dentist.

Morning Emma .hope you are wellx Dolly hope you sorted a new motor out .there are so many to choose from.marion good to see you back ~~~~~~Joan, Hazel .Allan.our youngest son was on holiday in Turkey .been a bit concerned with the earth quake, got a text he got home 2am today, so many lives lost tragic, its wet & windy for a change ..local shops & then not doing a lot today .Take care Barbra x. :-)

Morning all, I hope everyone is well and you are all having a lovely day? Its sunny and dry here today with a chilly breeze, lovely for getting my laundry on the line.
This just a quick one as we are off out to look for a new car, going to look at Ford's first but I fancy a Golf, hubby doesn't :( It will all boil down to economics of miles per gallon of fuel in the end so it won't really matter what car we have as long as its big enough to do what we need it to do.
